合掌造りの古い木造家屋なので、隣の部屋の音は丸聞こえです。
部屋もあまり広くなく、いわゆる普通のホテルのような部屋とは全く違い、かなり気を遣うことは確かです。
ただ、麦茶をサービスで用意してくれたり、いろいろ細かい気配りをしてくれるのは心地よいと思いました。
食事もこれぞ日本食といった趣のあるものばかりでとても美味しかったです。大人はもうちょっと量があると良いなと思いました。
宿泊者ならではの早朝の誰もいない白川郷の散歩はとても気持ちが良かったです。
車は宿の前に2台だけ停められます。

5月上旬にお世話になりました。合掌造りの宿で、縁側などでくつろぐのは最高でした。ご飯は、自家製のお米がとてもふっくらしており美味しかったです。何より、宿の方がとても親切で、また訪問したいと思いました。

４月末にお世話になりました。縁側で大自然を眺めながら過ごすことでき大満足です。テレビがないため、より自然のを感じることができました。又、蛙の合唱は本当に素晴らしいです。蛙の合唱なんて子供のころ田舎に帰った時以来で、何十年ぶりです。とても貴重な時間でした。山菜料理がとてもおいしかったです。ありがとうございました。

急なキャンセルがあったそうで運良く年末年始の休みに予約できました。

合掌づくりに初めて泊まりました。
大雪降るなかでも
室内と外とは障子一枚のままです。
ですが、床暖房やお風呂が快適でした。

食事も飛騨牛、イワナの塩焼き、朴葉味噌が美味しかったです。
ご飯が進みます。
お米は、自家製でおひつを開けた瞬間の香りが家で炊くのと全く違いました。

本格的な雪国ですから、長靴やダウンジャケット、山坂ありますからクルマは4wdをご用意ください。

また、あの豪雪を体験しに行きたいてす。

Great guest house! Owners are very nice. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, served at 6pm and 7: 30am respectively. Both were traditional local food although the owner offered to cook the eggs for those of us who don’t like them raw. Room was traditional (tatami, futon) very clean with access to the engawa. Other amenities are shared with the other guests. No TV, you get to enjoy the ‘quiet’ atmosphere of a mountain village. From 5pm to 10am you can enjoy the village without the crowds.

白米は自家製のコシヒカリとの事で、
いつもは健康の為に炭水化物を控えていましたが、食べちゃいました。

早朝の散歩は格別で、山の景色と虫の声が合掌造りに合い良い時間でした。

オーナーも良い人達で、サービス良く、
きれいな宿でした。
初の古民家宿泊が良い思い出になりました。

Fun experience and phenomenal food. My only complaint was the paper thin walls. My husband and I felt rude even talking so we just watched Netflix with our headphones in.
Also I was not a fan of the super early morning in order to shower.

Shirakawa-go is a such a cute and charming place to visit. Kanjiya is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station and is quietly tucked away from the main street. As there are only 4 rooms, the owners take very special care in preparing your room and food. The food was amazing and generous. My only criticism is that the pillows were difficult to sleep on since they were the same material as bean bags/wheat bags.

Everything lovely.the people that work here are amazing hosts, the only downside is that someone kept working in the kitchen until 3am and you were able to hear them, other than that, everything was great
