飛騨高山宮川朝市

It's an Open Market with canopied booths selling all sorts of wares from foods to wooden knickknacks. It's fun strolling thru this alleyway & shopping at the more conventional brick & mortar shops there too.

Not a very big market but nice and good to wondering around in the morning. Try the food /snack that this lady cooks, they are yummy. Special recommend custard and red bean.

屋台のおばちゃんに勧められて、高山産のリンゴと漬物を購入しました。市民の台所と言うよりも、観光施設の一環を担っているようです。高額でしたが、漆塗りの三段重ね重箱を買いました。いい記念品になると思います。

We visited in Summer and they have the night festival and fire work. Was amazing experience for sure. Loved the people there.

Very nice market, you can buy food and suviners, also theres a lot coffee and restaurants. View to a beautiful river.

高山に来るとこの通りには朝、昼共に必ず寄らせてもらいます。
　観光地と言うと朝の早い時間帯を持て余す事が多いのですが、高山はこの宮川と陣屋前の朝市が有るので朝の散歩がてら時間を潰すにはもってこいですね。早いお店は朝６時頃からやっているみたいです。

Selling a lot farmer's fresh vegetables and rice. Reasonable price. Since it's a popular sightseeing place, crowd with travellers and local. There has a lot food stalls.

朝から9時でしたが、8割は外国人️
屋台で、高山産の大きな椎茸を買いました 本当に大きくてビックリ
直径10㎝ぐらいある椎茸が６個入って、1,000円でした。安いね！
おまけにに、小さい椎茸も貰いました。ありがとう
