Looks rather Spartan. Don't be fooled. Really terrific Japanese food at reasonable prices. Most staff speaks English. So polite and accommodating. Go and enjoy

Restaurant near the river with beautiful view. Their best menu was hida beef. We can also buy a garnish for rice from seaweed and washabi at their store.

Its located in Shirakawago, with a big parking lot beside it. Its not really easy to find but the food is really good. Not only it serves pork / beef, there is also natto, cucumber and miso soup. They put the meat on a small pot for grilling, so you have to make sure its cooked before xoming
