水明館 佳留萱山荘

これぞ秘湯
私が1番好きな混浴露天風呂です。2023年8月頃に見に行きましたが、入れなくなっていました。併設のキャンプエリアで冬凍えながらキャンプをし、干して凍ったタオルをこの温泉で溶かしながら入浴した記憶があります。キャンプをしながら1日に5回くらい温泉に入ったのがとても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。

I honestly think about this place all the time even thought it's been 4 years since visiting. We went around the end of October/beginning of November when the autumn foliage was at its peak. The views from most of the baths are absolutely stunning. I love that there are 3 private baths to choose from. The keys to the private baths are left at the front desk and you can pick them up at any time. The meals here are so wonderful. They focus on showing off the best ingredients from the area, e.g. Hoba miso, hida beef, etc. The hoba miso here is the best miso you'll ever have. At the time, I asked where I could by it and the GM said that they actually make it in house. Everyone here was so genuine and nice. You have to take a bus from Takayama to get here, which is a little difficult, but ultimately worth it. From what I remember, when you get off the bus you have to walk back down the road a little bit, then take the path down the hill to get to the hot springs inn. It's possible to visit this place without knowing any Japanese, however I think you visit will be that much better if you know the basics at least since there aren't too many foreigners who visit here.

大きな露天風呂は圧巻の広さです。色々と場所を移動しながら景色の違いを楽しみながら、お湯を楽しむことができます。
宿の方々の『おもてなし』の姿勢も素晴らしく、食事もとても美味しい頂きました。
なかなか頻繁には行きにくいロケーションなので、二泊くらいすれば良かったな〜と今更ながら思っています。️

2018年11月23日3年前の休館前に太田さんご夫婦に歓迎して頂いて最後の大露天風呂楽しませて頂きました。
ここでは幾度となく楽しい思い出の数々、
再開して頂だけることを切に願う一人であります。

JR東海の高山本線を走っている[特急ワイドビューひだ]が、キハ85系になって間もない頃の約30年程前、あの当時は半年前に電話で予約して宿泊した場所ですね。四季を通して数回程訪れた事がありました。中でも露天風呂ががめちゃ広いですね。東海地方では一番だと思います。真冬の雪見️露天風呂、秋は紅葉とそれぞれ季節の顔がありますね。真冬の晴天の日には露天風呂から槍ヶ岳️が見えましたよ。旅館での部屋は山側と川側とありますが、川側の方が料金が若干高いです。夕食は飛騨地方ならではの朴葉を使った料理で、飛騨牛を使った朴葉味噌焼が美味かったですね。ビールも進みます。
今は新型コロナで出かける事が出来ないので、落ち着いたらまた行こうと思います。
補足…露天風呂の近くにキャンプサイト️がありますが、子供達が水着を着用してジャブジャブ泳いでいるのがおりました。露天風呂の湯が濁ってしまい、不衛生なので止めて欲しいと思います。

2020年10月15日現在休業中。再開時期未定。
看板にはリニューアル工事中と書いてありますが、工事している様子は全くありませんでした。このままフェイドアウトの可能性がかなり高そうです

I was recommended this one by a friend who said the views from the ladies and mixed baths were beautiful! A bit of a journey by bus but it was very easy to find.
Well worth the journey there as the views were absolutely gorgeous.
I was lucky enough to enjoy a soak in the ladies bath by my lonesome before I headed to the mixed bath to enjoy a much better view of nature and the surrounding mountains.
Don't pop into the mixed bath if you are not comfortable with being naked around the other gender.

『水明館、佳留萱』現在リニューアル中でやってませんでした。いつまでかは不明です。サイトにも書いてませんので注意です。ちなみにタクシーを呼んでもここまで来ないので、バス停で待つはめになります。気をつけてください。今現在そうなっています。

次に来て入れるのを楽しみにしています！

ここは立ち寄り湯客を客と思っていない。
ものすごい態度を連発され驚いた。　一番びっくりしたのは混浴露天にワニ集団がいたので通報したが日帰り客が文句を言うなと言われた。
今時、この日本でこれはありえるのか。
いや外人観光客が多かったので日本人はもう相手にしていないのかも.

キャンプ場について。
大人気で予約を取り辛い。
通年か繁忙期のみか不明ですが、ソロキャンパーは受け付けないとの事。
この近辺に温泉付きキャンプ場は複数件あります。ソロキャンパーさんは他をあたった方が、残念な気持ちにならずに済みます。

Its an amazing place, gracius staff, great food and incredible outdoor onsen's. It is highly recommended!

It's very nice to stay at the ryokan and the onsen is simply amazing! As for the food be prepared for a lot of seafood which wasn't my thing. The staff is great they're all very friendly and helpful and speak some english. The surrounding is also amazing it's super quiet and is relatively close to an amazing spot called kamikochi, if you ever visit make sure to go there it's totally worth it you'll be amazed be the views!

Fantastic place to enjoy hot springs and delicious food. The staff maticulous in their service provided, very helpful and informative. The meals were a brilliant introduction into Japanese cuisine. You never go hungry here! The baths were tremendous - a very large shared area for mixed genders with tremendous views of some fantastic scenary. Private baths with each a unique feel to them.

スタッフの皆さんがとても親切でした。お料理もとても美味しかったです。夜ゲンジボタルを見に連れて行って下さったのですが、幻想的で綺麗でした。250人入れる露天風呂が最高です。混浴ですが浴衣を貸して頂けるので安心して入れます。

青い空、大きな山、そして何と大きな開放的な露天風呂。そのコントラストが素晴らしい。
日帰り入浴でしたが、お宿の人がとても親切で、泊まってみたくなりました。
温泉好きは、是非寄ってみるべきお風呂です。

宿は古くて川側の壁が欠けていたりするが、なんといっても開放感のある広い露天風呂がすばらしい。そうは言っても、建てなおして、山荘から下呂にある高級旅館のようになってしまうよりは、このままの方がいいです。

大露天風呂があり、日帰り入浴ができます。混浴の大露天風呂は、水着の着用はできませんが、バスタオルを巻いて入るのはOK。入浴料は800円で、女性専用の露天風呂もあります。脱衣所にロッカーがあり、100円で利用できます。開放的な空間でリラックスできます。

温泉が最高。
積雪50センチの日に行ってよかった。
雪見温泉おすすめ。

混浴でみんなで楽しめるのがいい。
湯浴みもあってそれほど恥ずかしくない。
