民宿 幸エ門

今はコロナで外国人はすっかりいないが、その対応にずいぶん苦労してきたのだろうか。コレはこうしてくれ、アレはそうしないでくれと、まぁうるさいうるさい。
囲炉裏で燻されて煙いでしょうから朝風呂にお入りくださいとか、お料理に味は付いていますがお醤油はこちらですとか、そういうおもてなし精神がニッポンじゃないかと思うが、そういうのはなかった。むしろ殺伐としたものを感じた。
風呂は17時～21時限定、食卓には一切調味料なし、昔を味わってほしいのでテレビはありませんということだが、うろつく家人が金髪とか、そういうことじゃないだろ感がいっぱい。

2021/7/14に初めての白川郷観光と合掌造り宿泊をさせていただきました。ひぐらしのなく頃にプランで泊まりました。部屋も綺麗で縁側にいるとすごく落ち着けます。ひぐらしのなく頃にのコミックも置いてありました。食事は山の幸が豪華です。宿泊申請時に岩魚の骨酒を事前に注文しました。
女将さんも気さくな方ですごく居心地が良かったです。また、泊まりたいです！
雪の白川郷で囲炉裏を楽しみたいと思ってます。

Koemon is located in the midst of other shops and gassho house, lending the vicinity a lively vibe. The house is adequately heated during our stay in winter and the hosts are very gracious and accommodating.

I LOVE Shirakawa. And this is my first time I stay in Koemon, though 'tis my 2nd time in Shirakawa. Koemon offers a friendly staff, with a very delicate, tasty dinner and breakfast (included in the stay package), with a warm and lovely futon (traditional Japanese bed). Overall a very great experience here, and definitely will come here for more!

I stayed here for one night. Koemon is one of those Gassho-zukuri houses in Shirakawago. Inside, food and everything were great. I had such a good experience here. So if you are ever coming to Shirakawago, staying at one of those houses is totally recommended.

We had a great time at Koemon. The hosts were very lovely. The dinner and breakfast were AMAZING! There is a nice hot bath to use at night and then traditional robes to wrap yourself in after. Very authentic! It is located at one end of town, very close to the open air museum, and only 15-20 minute walk to the viewpoint on the other side of town. A lot of tourists walking around but once they all leave it is very peaceful. Highly recommend!

Love this Japanese traditional house (Koemon). I can't express the feeling of living in this small historic villages of Shirakwa-go. The stress you have in your daily city life will wash away by just staying a night at this wonderful guest house. This place offer both dinner and breakfast (see photos below). Both breakfast and dinner serve with healthy choices of veggies, miso soup, miso paste with mushroom etc. The taste is really really awesome and you can taste the real Japanese traditional meal! Toilet facilities are fantastic as you would expect from Japanese amazing next level advanced toilets! This place also have hot spring style bathtub however, I went to nearby hot spring which is just Y500 (discount price for living here). Overall, I give 5 out of 5 for foods, their hospitality and cleanliness. RECOMMENDED! ! !

Very nice minshuku, good atmosphere. Quite good food. We had the room near a small garden very nice. The only think I missed was that at the dinning and breakfast time I thought it would be more familiar, and it wasn, t.

I've stayed here twice and it's a great way to experience staying in a farmhouse. The rooms are simple, but a good size and warm even in winter. The evening meal was particularly nice and included local beef and miso.

Belle maison traditionnelle, Repas excellent, toilette et douche ok avec onsen partagé.
Mais accueil glacial, insectes sur tatami, futon extra fin et linge de lit en toile de sac à patate. La propriétaire réside dans une maison moderne attenante. Un sentiment de business + que de guest house

Very good Dinner, restroom and shower ok with onsen.
But icy welcome, extra thin futon and extra rough bed sheet, with few insects on the ground.
Feelings closer to tourist business than guest house
