What an amazing experience. The owners of the coffee shop are sweet older couple and they make great coffee.

Lovely place inside a lovely shrine, I will go back whenever I’m in Takayama. They have a little shop within the café and everything is so nice!

お店の外で木漏れ日の下ベンチに座ってのんびりとコーヒーを味わえます。
夏はフラッペが美味しいですよ。

One of the best coffee’s me and my wife had in our life! Such a treat! Worth a visit even just for a break. Take your time to check out the shop’s little souvenir selection. We recommend the “hand pour coffee” which was priced at reasonable rate and ground fresh. Was poured properly and traditionally by friendly husband and wife business. Highly highly highly recommended!

Most welcoming and warm coffee shop I've been to in Japan. Coffee tastes great, and their hospitality is amazing. Owned by an old couple. Their collection of pottery is also amazing

The old couple that runs the cafe is really sweet. The first time they gave us a "present"; a tiny ceramic turtle. Their coffee and frappe was so good we came back and they presented us with Japanese tea after we sat down. You really feel as if they're hosting you in their home!

A cafe with a happy energy run by an old couple. Come here if you want good coffee, tasty desserts and to see pretty potteries on sale.
