民宿 桑谷屋 Minshuku Kuwataniya

息子との鉄オタ…もとい、電車旅行で利用させていただきました。夕食は外で食べたのですが、朝食は宿で提供されたものを頂きました。朴葉味噌…初めていただきましたが、ほおずきの葉の上で温めたねぎ味噌は味も香りも素晴らしくてとても美味しかったです。

女将さんがええ人で、温泉風呂も懐かしさを感じさせる。温泉は入りやすく熱くも無し緩くも無し大変気持ちいい温泉です。朝食はちょっとした夕食並みで朴葉味噌が有ってそれを御飯にのせて頂く。これは旨かった。 ほんまに楽しめて温泉で気持ち良く疲れも取れて、また飛騨高山に行く時はお世話になります。

朝ごはんがアカン (褒め言葉) ！素朴だけど手間暇かかってる！朴葉味噌ど飯泥棒漬でかなりのご飯持っていかれました。
そこに高山温泉の風呂と合わせて約5000円台。
これ十分贅沢です！

Really typical guest house. The only con i saw is have to go downstairs to the toilet. The owners are great ones.

The place are super comfy and nice. The host are also very nice. Though they don't have any elevator so it might be a little difficult if you bring a very heavy luggage.

対応が最悪、おもてなしの精神が皆無。ドライヤーが1つしかなく客が多いと使えない。お風呂も22時までしかない使えないから夜は最悪に混む。観光場所を聞いたら、間違った場所を教えてくる。レンタサイクルを使用しようとしたら18時までしか使えないと言われた、観光地ではあり得ない。客層も最悪だった。女の顔をじろじろ見る男がいれば、4人使用で8人と混んでいるのに何時間もシャワーを占領して、その上身体を洗わず風呂に入る女がいる。更に、部屋はダニか埃がひどいです、ハウスダストのアレルギーがある方はやめた方がいい、かなりしんどかったです。
最悪な１日を経験しました。正直、後悔するかもしれないのでお薦めできません。

I give this hotel a 5 star rating for friendliness, location but it is probably a 2.5 to 3 star hotel. Not much English spoken but very manageable. If you are looking for a more modern hotel with those sort of conveniences then this probable won't suit. If you don't mind an older hotel but with very friendly staff with great location then this would suit well.

古い町並みにも近く快適です。対応もとても親切で気持ちが良かったです。大浴場が二つありますが、女性用の方はとても綺麗で広かったそうです。男性用の方は大人４人なんとか入れる程の広さでした。（入れ替えもあるそうです）

We were able to book one of the rooms with a private bath. Very little English is spoken at thus hotel. The room had an information booklet with no English at all. There is no lift and all the rooms are up either one or two flights of stairs. The location is good. The Sun laundromat is very convenient. We enjoyed the nearby local sites. Prices were very high. Good food and service at Hida Yakima from the Hida Beefmeister. Also at Echiba

It has a public bathroom, spring water pool and basin but no need worry too much because most of the times there will be no one there. However, if you feel uncomfortable, then better not to choose it. (I'm serious). It has a television inside the room which is the part which satisfied me the most xD there are so many channels which are very interesting indeed. The bed is warm and comfortable. Dipping my legs into the spring water is really a good and nice experience.

My husband and I were exploring takayama for the first time and he booked this accommodation.it was a very homely and cosy stay.the host was warm and friendly too! There are baths within the house too! Definitely will come back to this place when we come back to takayama again

Very basic facility, the place is surprisingly dirty. Most disappointing was when we had to pay extra charges for a child upon checking out, despite clearly indicating "3 person / 2 adults with 1 child in one room" when we made prior booking. For the rates they charge, I think there are better options elsewhere. Not worth the $$ spent.

3 stars as we went for the budget option of 4 people staying in the same room. The hotel was very quiet and we were mostly left to ourselves. The onsen is very good and worth the tax. The room was clean, as we're the bathrooms. Great location for exploring takayama.

Its quite good. Nice rooms and good facilities. They provide public baths with onsen. Downside is breakfast is not included in the room rate and the room isnt that clean but still acceptable. There are many dining choices near the Inn.
