Sushi -Dining Nob

After a night time stroll in the quiet town where most places are closed, the host was very hospitable and generous. As I ponder on wabi-sabi, stopping here has allowed me to pause. I'm still recovering from jetlag and train transfers, but I loved the jazz. Route 66 is on my travel list, so when I finally do drive down America's Main Street, I'll certainly remember Soshi Dining Nob. Perhaps, with a poem, too. Wouldn't that be a gift!

Great sushi in Takayama. There are 2 option for roll menu, half and full roll. This is good for single or couple dinning. I can try many dishes in small portions.

The food here was delicious. Friendly and polite staff. Sushi very good with a wide selection, but also a range of meat and chicken and tasty tempura if sushi is not your thing. Really enjoyed eating here!

Sushi was really good. There was only 1 person on staff so we had to wait a bit, but nothing too bad. Recommended for some good sushi and friendly staff.

Sashimi assortment, tuna and avocado tartar and good variety of sushi. The place is small, but very good with excellent service.

Excellent sushi and a really lovely place in Takayama. They accepted any change we asked to make without a problem. The place is a little bit small but worth the wait!

Small little place, but very very good to try sushi and some variations of Hida beef.
Fresh fish, nice meat and very friendly staff.
It is a must to visit if you pass by Takayama.

Myself and my girlfriend went here and I would be pretty conservative when it comes to food but this place was really good. Had spicey chicken, tempura camembert, shrimp sushi, green beans, salmon sushi and it was all perfect. Had a fondant to top it all off. Service was quick and it was busy at the time so I was very impressed with that.the couple that run it were very nice and the price of it all was very reasonable. Enjoy)
