宿坊 いわ江

Lovely - small no frills guest house with a handful of rooms run by a kind family it appears. You can get nihon - shu (sake) in the evening, bathrooms are mostly communal as our the showers (you reserve in advance), breakfast is included and we got on fine with a little Japanese and English. Super kind and lovely experience. This is the kindest and most generous snacks and drinks - it’s simply lovely

お食事、お風呂ゆっくりできて疲れが取れました。歴史と時代を感じました。山近いので、小さい蜘蛛がいましたが非日常的で本当良かった。タイムスリップしたみたいで楽しかった。寝る前に母と昔のお婆ちゃんの家の話をしました。また行きたいです。

Food is just amazing! Owners catered to my vegetarian diet, without any problem. They are in general very helpful and friendly. Ohyama is famous for tofu, so it was fotu paradise on a plate;) the building is old, but fully renovated, so rooms and all spaces are very nice. All is super clean. There are only shared toilets and a shared showers/bath (sento style). Great value for the price.

昭和の古きよきお宿ですご夫婦で経営されまていてとても親切でした。設備は古くても綺麗に整備されています。トイレは共用ですが２ヶ所複数個室が有るので問題無しです。朝夕豆腐や川魚料理も美味しく、楽しい休日を過ごせました。

宿泊客も少なく良いお部屋に泊まらせていただきました。ただ、換気していないようでカビ臭い中で一晩過ごしました。お風呂場の引き戸の建て付け悪く残念なのはこれだけです。建物が古くても風情があり心地良かったです。朝晩のお料理も全て大変美味しく、メニューもヘルシーでお腹いっぱいになりました。

10月上旬泊まりました。部屋も大変広々していて、食事が豪勢で食べきれないほどです。豆腐、湯葉などを使ったお料理がメインでした。建物も懐かしい風情で落ち着きました。

バス停からも近く、他の宿坊とちょっと離れているので静かです。宿のご主人のお知り合いのお土産やさんに荷物を預かっていただけ、山登りの時には身軽に登れました。

施設は古いですが、宿の方も親切で料理も丁寧で美味しいかったです。お風呂は表面が熱かったですがかき混ぜたらちょうど良くなりました。最近では珍しいですよね！暖房器具が調子悪く寒かったですが、全般的に良かったです。
