鷹取山公園

At the outset it seems like a not so interesting hike, but if you use the side paths, it has some adventurous hiking trails for beginners and rope climbing trails for professional mountaineers. Explore for yourselves and stay safe!

ここは何十年も前から落石等の危険があるためロッククライミング禁止だったはずですが、最近は特にクライマーが目立たます。
その下を親子連れのハイカーが普通に通行しているのはいかがなものでしょうか？

トレイルランナーも最近目立ちますが、周囲に危険を及ぼす可能性がある行為はきちんと取り締まってもらいたいです

最近は異常気象のせいか近辺で何度も土砂崩れなどが起こっています。ちなみに池子で起きた学生の死亡事故はこの山の麓の住宅地です。

行政ももう少し危機感を持って未然に事故を防ぐ対策を取るべきではないでしょうか?

横須賀市の高台にあり、晴れている日には、素晴らしい眺望が得られます。近在の方やハイカーのほか、岩登りの練習の場としても利用されています。ロッククライミングをする方は、地元の方に迷惑をかけないようマナーを守って利用しましょう。

Really interesting place. It seems to be a quarry of some sort of sandstone or thin conglomerate. There is some ice climbing are available, where people practice with their axes on the holes in the wall. There is some bouldering, but I couldn't find a guide, mostly just traversing for fun (nobody was there with crashpads). There are some bolted routes, but lead climbing is not available due to access issues, and only top rope is allowed. The place is full of small paths and walls with Buddhist carvings, including a carved Buddha, and there is a nice observatory at the top. Climbing was busy but not too much. Many people were walking by and watching the climbers when I visited on a Sunday.

低山で登りやすく、子供連れのハイカーさんをよくみかけます。追浜や田浦、東逗子などアクセスが良く、神武寺まで足を伸ばしてハイキングを楽しめます。

神武寺方面からだと山頂手前に鎖場があるので、天気の悪い日は別ルートから登ると安心かもしれません。

京浜急行の追浜駅から住宅地を歩いて登って来ると、切り立った壁でロッククライミングをしてる方がいたりして日常見ない風景が見れます。
展望台に登ると、横浜市街地や東京まで良く見えます。

The park is pretty good. If someone is looking for a small hike and don't have time to go out of town too much, this park is placed perfectly near the town that it's close enough to go for a short hike or run and also difficult enough to give you a good workout. This is an old rock quarry. In addition now it's being used as a rock climbing place
And the rock climbing experience is an amazing experience in itself if you are into it or have kids who want to get into it, perfect place to take them and have safe climbing experience. Good for experienced climbers too.
A bit further is shrine which is a good short hike and a peaceful place as well. All in all, got 2-3 hours only for outdoors, this is good place to be.

Great hiking spot with cool things to see and do while getting a good workout. Hiked both directions and I can feel the workout in my legs the next day. My dogs got a good workout too and didn’t get too dirty but I will give them a bath anyhow because it is a dirt hike and there is much brush they ran up against. The stairs to to the Observation Point are also extensive but worth the view from up there. You can see 180 degrees all the way to the Yokohama Building and both shorelines. Then walk even further and around the rock climbing? ‍️ to see the large Buddha carved into rock. Walk back and get a refreshing beverage at the restroom and play area for kids as well as the separate trash areas.

鷹取山は低山ハイキングにもってこいの場所です。小学生のお子様でも神武寺 (逗子市) までなら歩いて行けます。もちろん、大人同伴でですが。

鷹取山の岩場を登り下りする人は昔から見かけましたが、近年は本当にボルダリングされる方が増えたと実感します。

磨崖仏を観に行かれるのであれば4月の頭がお勧めです。桜風吹越しに観る磨崖仏は一見の価値あり！

また、細い階段を上がった先にある展望台からは東京湾や相模湾はもちろん、富士山も遠望できます。但し、風を遮るものが何もないため強風に煽られやすいです。要注意。

遺跡のような独特の景観、存在感のある磨崖仏、景色もよくて見どころがコンパクトにまとまっています。
ちょっとしたハイキングにもってこいな場所です。
核心は追浜駅からの上り坂でしょうか (笑)
駅から登山が始まります。

クライミングの岩は独特でおもしろいです。脆い感じがちょっと恐いです。

登りは神武寺から鷹取山、下りは京急田浦の経路でした。鷹取山には何度となく行っていますが葉が落ちた雨上がの岩場はすべりやすいですから気をつけた方が良いです。たかだか139メートルの山ですが展望台まで登ると周辺には景色を遮る障害物も少なくて気持ちが良いですよ。

昔は湘南アルプスと言っていました。ロッククライミングのゲレンデで今より立ち入れる場所が沢山ありました。 今は浅間の一部でしか登れないようです。京急の六浦、田浦または神武寺、JRの東逗子などさまざまなルートから散策出来ます。是非、展望を楽しんでください。

鷹取山公園は、毎朝の散歩場所です。水道階段【93段】を登って、いわたばこの崖を通り過ぎ、磨崖仏に挨拶し、東屋の広場を抜け、展望台で富士山、スカイツリー、ランドマーク、房総半島を眺め、いつも会う人たちとおしゃべりをして桜並木を下り、家に戻ります。朝の1時間ですが、貴重な体験です。雨でも行きますよ！

横須賀市民の憩いの公園。住宅街から５分以上登り歩いてたどり着く。４月は桜が、５月はつつじが、６月はアジサイが咲く。昼間は海が見える。夜は夜景がきれいらしい。岩トレをする人で賑わっている。ゴミを捨てて帰れる。

クライミングの練習のためにたまに訪問するが、いつもクライマーで賑わっている。トイレと自販機が備わっている貴重なゲレンデ。初心者向けのフェースから、オーバーハング、人工登攀の練習ができる岩もあり、色々なレベルの人が楽しめる場所だと思う。
磨崖仏は昭和44年生まれ。

Good hiking mountain. Ups and downs so you have to be in fair condition. Great view of Zushi, ocean and Mt Fuji. Camelia flowers in winter season.

低山139m。切り立つ岩は、石材を切り出した跡。ロッククライミングは要登録
途中の磨崖仏が美しい。頂上の展望台から東京湾~千葉県の鋸山、晴れていれば送電線ごしに富士山も見える。広場から神武寺は鎖がある
春は桜が綺麗。鷹取山~追浜駅の道路も桜トンネルになる

追浜駅から近いのにクライミングが出来ます
クライミングが出来る場所としてはとてもアクセスが良い場所です
ハイキングでも楽しめます、公園なのでトイレもゴミを捨てる場所もあります
少し高い場所に上がるとみなとみらい、東京タワー、横須賀の潜水艦まで見れます

Very unusual park consisting of sandstone rocks, a former place of a stone quarry. Toilets with running water are available at the bottom, along with few roofed tables. An observation deck is available at the top of the rock with views on both sides of the Miura Peninsula, including My. Fuji.
