Volunteered once a week for 6 months on this farm. Great people and lovely place! The produce is top notch!

The farm is on a hilly farmland with a bamboo forest in one corer and a small local shrine. Seasonal vegetables are grown here every year and edible wild plants are seen in spring, not to mention all the free-range chickens o the farm!

Fresh eggs and vegetables, beautiful landscapes within an hour of Tokyo. Byron, Kaori and their colleagues are doing ambitious projects (construction, farming, chicken breeding.). A great source of inspiration for those who want to work and make projects in a challenging cross-cultural context in order to create a healthier future for the next generations.

Super nice hosts! Had a great time staying there and learning new tips and tricks about farming and starting your on life in the country side: D

So much to love about Kasamatsu Farms. They have free range chickens, organic vegetables, a pizza oven, and it's all located in a lush mountain setting.

Beautiful people and nature, Japanese old style houses, organic crops they produce. When I was a student I got lots experiences. It’s precious time and really I appreciate. I’ll go to see you.

Such a nice place Byron, Brian and Mark are developing there at Kawamatsu farms, we enjoyed staying there and were glad to contribute to the project! The world needs more development of places (like this one) using permaculture concepts. Keep it up, we might come back some day and see the progression: D Wish you all the best.
