30 いきなりステーキから少し離れた所にある。ミスタードーナツの隣。
３００ｇのステーキが、１７００円で食べられる。
ただし、付け合わせはトウモロコシのみ。
ライス大盛り無料だが、スープは付かない。
席もカウンターのみなので、食べたらすぐに出なければいけない感じ。
アツアツの鉄板に肉が乗っており、好みの焼き加減で食べられるのだが、そんなに差が出ることはない。ハンバーグとカットステーキはよく焼けという張り紙があるので、成形肉なのだろう。
胡椒の香がよく、味は美味しい。
こまめに水を注いでくれるのはありがたい。

横須賀のうまい店は仲間の店、まずい店は嫌いな奴の店。

どこにでもある、このチェーン店がけっこう好きだ。数年前に初めて入った。クツワ型のカウンターに20席ほどか。その全ての席がアメリカ兵で埋っていた。
ほとんどがペッパーライスを食べていた。鉄板の上で、細切れにした牛肉とライスにソースをかけ、グチャグチャに混ぜてたべる。
横須賀のレストランチェーンの中には、米兵の溜まりになっている店が数軒ある。例えばベース正門に近いココイチでは日本人は余り見かけない。
ただペッパーランチは町なかのせいか日本人も多い。
ジジは横須賀の小学校に電車通学していた。まあ、昔から米兵は近くにいたと言えるだろう。さらに大人になってから10数年をアメリカで過ごした。
そのためか、米兵がアメリカ社会の最底辺から来ていること、普通の日本人の想像もつかない劣等感を抱いていることはよく知っている。
例えばニューヨークのハーレムで黒人の若者に、将来どうしたいと訊けば、軍に入って技術を学びたい、軍の奨学金で大学に行きたいと多くが答えるだろう。兵隊になるしか、現実から逃げる道はないのだ。
だから、こうした飯屋で出会う米兵は概して暗い。アフリカ系、ヒスパニック。貧しい出自が全身から発散している。
さらに中東などでの戦況が厳しくなれば、米兵の目には凄まじい絶望感が宿る。
多分基地の町横須賀でも、日本人はそこが分かっていない。
Super delicious beef, and crispy rice as it sizzled on the hot skillet plate. A must have is to try the sweet sauce with your meal!
Just a great place to experience and fantastic food. Reminds me of a high end Waffle House with good food Japanese style.

1番オーソドックスなやつの、770円のを頼みました。
お肉少ないかな？と思いましたが、そんなことなかったです。腹持ちも良かったです。
アプリを取ったおかげでクーポンでトッピングが無料になりました。また鉄板温めてくれたり、対応も良かったです。美味しかった〜！また行きます！

Small space and not kid friendly. There is only dining bar, no high chair and no space for stroller but food is very good
The concept is cool, they bring it on a super hot skillet and you cook it until it is as done as you want. It's fun to try but for the price the meat could be higher quality.
Food was delicious. I loved this place when I was stationed in Yokosuka from 2003-2007. Glad to see it's still open.
Quality has gone down since I was last here in February of 2018. The past 2 times I have gone here the service has been poor, the restaurant is dirty, and my order was wrong. This will be the last time I eat at this location.

Very unique experience awaits your as you wonder into pepper lunch. Most dishes come out as fajitas do in ordinary restaurants. The usual choice by patrons include some steak, rice, and vegetables. The skillet comes to you piping out with everything still cooking. You get to cook your meat to the doneness that your prefer and then mix it all up and consume one of the best meals you can get around. I like to order the spicy version and throw a little cracked pepper on top. Oh and they have a few different sauces to choose from at your seat.
Pepper Lunch is fantastic! Went to Yokosuka for work and ate there in 2009. It is the quintessential vending machine ordering experience. Order your food from the machine and they will cook it up and being it to you. I had some sore of curry steak dish that was delightful. Sure hope to go back again some day!
Nice place to go eat and a different experience to eat. When meal arrives you even get the opportunity to finish cooking your meal the way you want it cooked. Mmmm good! Ooshi Des.
It’s great for what you get and you can’t beat the price. The menu is in English and Japanese. The sirloin pepper steak is my go to!
Went here with some friends for lunch today and I must say this place lived up to expectations. The staff were friendly and we got our food without having to wait long. I would def be going back here to try something new from their menu
This place is a must try. Your Steak comes out on a sizzling platter and you have a paper to protect your clothes from the splatter. Need to order medium to well done. If medium rare of rare, the meet is chewy.
The first time I ate here the food did not agree with me because it was so greasy. However, this time it was not as greasy. I did order differently so that might have been the reason. I added a few photos of my meal and the location. There is not a lot of seating so it is a gamble if you will get a seat. There are a couple of cool shops near here if you need to kill time.
