There’s something about this joint. First it’s the fact that I wasn’t aware of it even though I lived in Musashi-Nakahara all the way back in 2015, then finally discovering it in 2022. Second is the Tequila (?) note in the Pico de Gallo, that definitely makes their burritos stand out. Then there’s the staff, who are the loveliest bunch. If only they would open more on weekdays.

Fellow expats, stop your searching…this is the place.

I just ordered from Cactus Burrito via Uber, and it was the best burrito I’ve had in Japan! The portion was great, the price good, flavors wonderful.

Definitely be sure to give this place a try!

イートインしました！ブリトーが分厚くて綺麗に巻いてあってすごく美味しかったです (^-^) 、写真にありませんが、おつまみも2つほど食べました。
店内は清潔で居心地いいです、店員さんも親切！
たまたま店内が空いていたのでよかったのですがイートインスペースが少ないため満席の場合テイクアウトする事になりそうです。

Way too expensive. Portion size isnt bad, but for this price? No thank you. The taste isn't great either. Not bad, but just below decent.

I wouldn't recommend this place.

Main reason just being the price. You shouldn't be paying 2000yen for a beef Burrito. Never seen a Burrito this expensive. Usually they're around 800 to 1200yen.

Highly recommend coming here. As a San Diego native I was craving that Mexican spicy and it did not disappoint. Def worth it. Friendly owners, able to speak Japanese and English. A wee bit more than I would spend per burrito and fries back home, but still savored it.

An amazing find on the other side of the Tama River! My wife and I split a carne asada California burrito, French fries instead of rice. It was delicious, though it needed hot sauce and jalapeños. Enjoyed it so much that we bought two more for dinner! Now, be warned, a little pricey, but if you are craving a burrito, worth it!

The first time we went to this place my friend said that the staff were rude, but I didn't notice. The second time I did!
We walked in to get take out and the person behind the register started shrieking at us to get out and come in one at a time (covid). No need to shout? Then they charged me 800 yen for - and I do not exaggerate - the worst burrito I've ever had. It was literally just white rice and chunks of chicken wrapped in a tortilla. Nothing else.
I was so annoyed I genuinely considered walking all the way back to get a refund.
In summary: obnoxious staff, higher-than-average prices, absolutely awful food. I don't think I've ever given a one star review before, but this place really earned it.

This is THE place to go if you want to eat authentic Mexican food in Japan. I’ve been to many other Mexican restaurants around Tokyo and was never satisfied until I came here.

I used to live in San Diego, California, where Mexican food is delicious and everywhere.

I was hit with nostalgia when I first ate the Carne Asada Fries at Cactus Burrito because it tasted as delicious as the best San Diego restaurants.

I highly recommend the Carne Asada Fries, California Burrito, Carnitas tacos, and guacamole.

Stop by here if you are ever in the area. It is delicious here and the owners are very friendly!

This may have been one of the most pleasant surprises out here. A restaurant of this calibre in such an unassuming location. Their food was outstanding & the shop itself had a very pleasant atmosphere too thanks to both the decor & the staff. Highly recommend to any lover of food, particular those with a craving for some Mexican-style cuisine.

Authentic burrito, avocado made guacamole and salsa are very delicious. I will definitely visit again to try different style burrito. Btw, the crispy pancake (or cookie?) next table looks yummy too, but I’m nut sure where is the sweet on menu.

So the food is kinda expensive compared to how much you get and you can't do take out. But the food is delicious. The staff are extremely friendly. I'm happy I found this place. Will for sure come back to eat.

Basically after living in Europe for 19 years I needed to come to Japan to get some serious authentic, homemade and delicious Mexican food. It’s a small kitchen, so sometimes during a rush it might take a little time, but be patient. It’s worth it. They have a decent selection of beers, speak English well and make a mean burrito. The burritos are just the right mixture of all the ingredients (not a rice log like you get in the States or in Europe).
Strongly suggest making the trek here if you are having that itch for something Mexican. Everything is made from scratch and it shows. Don’t miss it.

I found this place called while searching for authentic Mexican food in Japan. Claims to be the best California Mexican food. So I came here to test that.
First, it's a very cute place with about 14 seats.
Definitely make a reservation. When I made a reservation for 6: 30pm on a Wednesday evening, there were already 10 seats reserved.
So I started with an appetizer of chili con carne. Pretty good. It has a nice kick to it. Not extra special, but still good stuff.
Next appetizer: buffalo wings. Nice flavor. The blue cheese dressing definitely compliments the flavor.
And finally, one Beef Enchilada and one Pork Enchilada.
I prefered the pork enchilada. My guest prefered the beef.
The beef enchiladas use strips of beef. For me, it was a little rough.
The pork on the other hand was so soft. It had just the right amount of flavor too. Very good!
The cook and her assistant were very friendly and quite funny too. The prices are reasonable. It is not expensive for a Mexican restaurant in Japan.
I traveled pretty far to come visit this place. If I was in the area again, I would definitely visit them again.
I grew up eating and cooking Mexican food. Is it authentic Mexican? No. They don't claim to be though. They claim to be authentic California Mexican. I don't know what California Mexican taste like. To me, this tasted like an American's version of Mexican. Though I wouldn't say Mexican, it was still very good food!

Not sure if it was authentic, but it was very good! Make sure to check the schedule before you go. Also, remember that they don't accept credit cards. I'll definitely return and try some of the other tempting items in the menu.

California burrito is pretty dank and is made in the correct Californian manner. So is the wet burrito with chicken. The sauce they drown that burrito in is freaking delicious and I would basically eat it until my body became mostly composed of burrito sauce. Finish off your nutritious and balanced meal with multiple hot fudge brownies covered in vanilla ice cream for a night to remember. Price is a smidge steep but definitely worth it. The place is also authentic AF and will give you foodie street cred.

正直ブリトーって、コンビニの薄っぺらい片手で食べるイメージしかなかったから、概念覆された。

中には、トマトやサルサ的なもの、お肉、お米がたっぷり。
上にはチーズがとろーり。めちゃ美味しい。
ハートランドのビールに合う合う。。

他メニューも沢山あったのでまた行きたい
