ISは私の娘たちが訪れた4つのインターナショナルスクールの中で最高です。初日から私たちはまるで家にいるように感じ、深い知識と各生徒への深い配慮を備えた優秀な教師に娘二人も見てもらい、話を聞いてもらい、サポートしてもらいました。IB の期間中ずっと、娘は自分自身の独自の方法を開発することに挑戦し、サポートしてきました。学習の。 YISの教師、SLT、管理者、その他のスタッフは、新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行下で行われるあらゆる意思決定の最前線で学び続けるために、これまで以上に努力してきました。新しいキャンパスを建設し、この困難な時期に引っ越しをする中で、娘たちと私たち家族は、YIS が家族にとって最良の選択であると信頼してきました。

東横線内で親と子のグループ。
子は年長〜小学生低学年と思われ、もう言い訳も聞くであろう年齢であったが、
車内で親が子供たちにお菓子の袋を渡して、子も普通にバリバリ食べ始めていた。。
騒ぐ幼児の機嫌を取るならまだしも‥
親は親で、お話に花を咲かせている。

制服を着て歩いていることを自覚したほうが良い。
もちろん、学校のレベルは推して知るべし。

Most of the reviews listed in here are only information about the outside view or the information in the website and never about how the system really happens here. To be honest? The information on the website is awry at best. There are good teachers and the teaching system is incredible, but the school needs to do better on who they hire. There was another review that was written about a similar topic is that this school cares much about their looks. Not a lot goes into preventing Covid and many of the rules such as needing to eat inside the Cafeteria with close to no ventilation with only 2 doors and almost 100 kids in there at once plastic dividers don't really do much. Especially since some of the teachers do not follow protocol and break the rules themselves while yelling at kids who break the rules in a similar fashion. Just because they are a teacher does not dismiss them from needing to follow the same rules as everyone does. Covid-19 is not a joke and should be taken more seriously with some of the teachers.

Please mind the person, who's username is, "Give it a thumbs up. " No kid in this era writes a positive essay for a school. It's pretty obvious that it's the school impersonating a student to try to cover their tracks.

I have been attending this school since kindergarten and have felt nothing but love and pride for YIS. Ever since I was little, I woke up everyday excited to go to school to see my friends and teachers. As a happy and overall positive kid, I used to tell my Mom "school is better than Disney land! "

Although I am in high school now and school can be hard because of the academics and regular teenage pressures, I still mean what I said. The never ending support and kindness from all my teachers helps me stay motivated and encourages me to improve myself to be a better person. During online learning (because of the pandemic) the school continuously checked in on students about our mental health and provided a strong support system for those who were struggling. With active teachers, me and many other students felt well supported and understood.

Now that we are back on campus, the school has navigated covid-19 precautions very well and made school feel safe enough and comfortable. Overall, I love my school and wish every kid could have the opportunity to receive the same positive experience in school as me. It honestly feels like a privilege and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to attend YIS.

I understand that some reviews suggest otherwise, and they are entitled to their opinion, however, based on their statements, they seem irrational, untrue, and for the purpose of revenge for individual reasons such as being expelled for poor choices. I hope this review will give parents who want their kids to be happy in school more personal and accurate insights about what it's really like to be a proud dragon.

I attended YIS from 1967-1970. Does anyone remember the staff members from those years? Miss Leach, Mr. Kerr, Mr. Glass, who was also the principal after 1967, Miss Mance, Mr. French, Mrs. Swanson, who had 3 daughters who were students there, Mr. Bernard and Mr. Theo De hann who was the principal in 1967. I was 12 in 1967 when i first started going to YIS. 52yrs later I still remember it like it was yesterday. I wonder where my classmates are now. Scattered all over the world probably and I'm sure most of the staff are long gone too. Such is life.

電車通学（みなとみらい線）の生徒のマナーが悪すぎる。
ラッシュ時の満員電車内で大声でべちゃくちゃ会話し、いつも優先席や車いすスペースを大勢で陣取って、周りに妊婦やお年寄りが居ても空席に一目散に座る。
大きなバックパックを背中に背負ったまま、体を横に揺らし（リズムを取っているのか何故揺れる必要があるのか人種の違いか分からないが）周りにバンバン荷物が当たるのもお構いなし。　
また、男女の仲が良いのは微笑ましいがスキンシップが過剰で、男子生徒が常に女子生徒のどこかしら（肩・腰・顔・髪・腕など）を撫でたり触ったりしている。
当方、英語も話せるので注意をしようかとも思ったが、満員電車でトラブルが発生しても困るので思いとどまった。
もう少し学校外でのモラルやマナーの教育にも熱を入れるべきではないかと思った。

日本に、駐在している期間に仕方なく通う人達ならともかく、あえて行かせるほどの内容か疑問。

都内のいくつかのインター、又は、偏差値がある程度取れるお子さんなら、日本の私学の方が良いと思います。
宣伝は多いのですが、とにかく荒れすぎ。

問題児を在学させて置くのも謎。

まず絶対に入るべきではない。特に日本人である場合は差別を学校から受けることも珍しくない。これは決して生徒だけでなく先生からもである。正直学年や授業によっては動物園と同等である。中でも偽造IDをつくるのはもちろん、飲酒やタバコは当たり前と言った状態である。しかし、この程度なら停学2-3日で済んでしまうのがこの学校のおかしいところ。 (今までの事例より) 在学生がこういったものを後輩に勧めてスパイラルをtsくっている。これは決して大げさなものではなお。麻薬使用者も少なく、退学になった生徒も複数存在する。高校からインターナショナルバカロレアを取り入れているが、正直点数は先生のお気に入りの生徒が良い成績を取るようなシステムとなっている。先生に気に入られるのが上手い人はいい大学に行けるのかも…ここで学校生活を無駄にしたのは間違いと断言できる。

A full IB school with an excellent reputation for education and community outreach. Campus is slightly small but they manage. Hosts excellent professional development throughout the school year.
