祇園山ハイキングコース・東勝寺跡方面口

I've walked this course previously and loved it and thought why not visit Kamakura today and take my kid on a small hike. Unfortunately when we got to the entrance there were ropes keeping visitors out. This was very unfortunate as no where online said that this trail was currently closed.

2020年11月29日現在、通行止めです。写真のとおり、鎌倉市観光課により立ち入り禁止の掲示がされています。

１時間強のちょっとしたハイキングなので、散歩より少し運動量があるコースです。路面は湿っているため、歩きやすい装備でいくべきです。汚れてもよい靴と服装がよいでしょう。革靴やヒールでは滑ってしまい危険です。

寺社巡りやカフェ巡りのついでに、散策の延長で楽しめるのではないかと思います。

The path is closed at the moment (January 2020) because of the damages caused by recent typhoons.

A manageable hiking route but certain path can be misleading with the over-grown vegetation. Quite a few uphill portion along the path. Do need to take note of slippery path as well. Nice hike in the cooling weather during this period.

観光地鎌倉にして、いくつかあるハイキングコースの中で、距離の短いコースになると思います。駅から近く、下山後に観光も出きるので、手軽に行けるハイキングコースです
でも靴は運動靴がおすすめ

Favourite activity we did whilst in Kamakura, took about 30 minutes. The terrain can be tricky at times but if you take it slow I think it’s achievable even for people not too sure on their feet. Very peaceful, would probably be a bit treacherous during/after rain, due to mud.

ハイキング初心者には調度いいコースです！
コースは整備されていないので手すりとかがありません。
小さいお子さんやお年寄りの方にはちょっと
あぶないかもしれないです。
山からは鎌倉の街と海がとっても綺麗に見ることができます。
八雲神社までつながってるので帰りは神社に向かう道順を選ぶと参拝して帰れるのでいいと思います！
鎌倉には他にもハイキングコースがあるみたいなので他にも登ってみたいと思います

Great family friendly and short trail. My three and five year olds have both walked the entire trail with minimal complaining. There are some steep parts and it can be very muddy/slippery after it rains.
