BEST nail salon in Yokosuka by far! They are always willing to work you into their schedules. Especially, for a busy mom like me, it can be very hard finding last minute service’s. They have never turned me down, for that I do appreciate. The excellent customer service plus beautiful nail work for both manicure and pedicure’s. Are just a added bonus! Keep up the great work ladies! (:

I hope this gets seen and deters other people from getting their lashes done here. This salon TOOK THEIR TIME TO incorrectly isolate my lashes leading to PHYSICAL pain from these lashes they put on me. Not only did the girl rush my lashes, she was placing ONE hybrid lash on THREE TO FOUR lashes. My eyes were in PHYSICAL PAIN. Do not get your lashes done here! DO NOT GET YOUR LASHES DONE HERE!

So helpful, they got me in last minute! They were also so patient with me when I got lost and was late to my appointment. Masumi did a great job on my lashes and brows!

Located on 2nd floor. I was able to get an appointment same day. Attendant spoke English very well, which was great because I am not fluent Japanese yet. Gel pedicure is pricey, but from research it’s pretty normal in Japan. There is $40 difference in gel and no gel pedicure- so make sure to ask before you get started. They are accepting cash only. My feet look better and feel better! Thanks Mikasa Salon!

This salon does good work, that I can say without doubt. However, their prices as are way too high and their customer service is terrible. I’ve been there a more than a few times and have dealt with problems each time. Such as, the person doing my nails or toes being entirely too rough. I. E, using a tool too hard and quickly to take off my polish or yanking my foot/hand forward. Or, not giving me my correct amount of change, even after being told about the error. This one time they told me to leave my ID while going to the ATM, just because i asked them to explain why the price was different from what i was told before getting serviced. Yet, didn’t ask the Japanese lady next to me to leave hers when she was going to get money out as well. These are just a few examples, but trust me I have more. I feel as though they treat Americans with a bit of a Rude demeanor, as well as take advantage of us financially. If you’re military or not a local citizen, please know there are better salons out there that are cheaper and have more friendly personnel. Check out ichigo nails, or beauty surrounding Yokosuka~ Facebook page for independent nail techs / beauty services. These are places where I’ve found good vibes /experiences.

They do amazing eyelash extensions, but refills cost about as much as a new set. I was really happy with the eyelashes but disappointed when they charged me $78 USD for a 2 week refill. They look nice but not worth it.

Only come here for the Brazilian wax. The staff person is always friendly, quick and efficient.

Mixed feelings about it. I easily made the appointment in person the day prior, but when I showed up for it, there was somehow confusion on whether I made an appointment. Plus she was rough and didn't check the water temp before having me put my hand in to soak. A less patient person would have cursed.
4 stars overall because the roughness came in handy with the hand massage. And I don't know what kind of gel polish this is (Pregel) but it had a hardening quality and nice finish. Then she did a paraffin treatment that left my hands looking better than before I came in, which is the whole point. So, gel + wax treatment totaled 5800¥. Not as high as I thought, and the appointment ended better than it started, so I'll probably come back.

Polite, English speaking staff. Just a pedicure (no paint/gel) ran 4500 yen, so a bit more on the pricey side but she did a good job.

Best place I've found in the Yokosuka area for gel nails. Attention to detail, perfect painting (even on my short nails) and really good manicure tidy-up before. Also very good for hot waxing services too. Will be back again, thank you!

Overall, nice place. More expensive. Great for facials and nails. Would not recommend coming here for eyelash extensions.
