If you're looking for a traditional mom & pop Japanese Ryokan experience at a historical seaside community, this is a good place to visit. The tatami grass mat floors are really fun and really make you feel like you're in Japan and having an authentic cultural experience.

The seaside views are really enjoyable— especially from the balcony in the big community room. There's a secret passageway down to the Yokobori Beach area from the basement/downstairs area.

The view from the women's bath (ofuro) is really spectacular— and the windows open so you can let in fresh air if you like.

There's lots of places in the area to explore and simply enjoy nature and it's a really wonderful place to relax and experience a different pace of life— especially if you spend a lot of time in Tokyo or Yokohama where everything is busy all the time.

It's also nice to support a local business. The owner's wife passed away and he's running the place all by himself. It's nice to know that money is going to someone who really needs it.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the views and beach access were really great! And because it was a true local experience and you could feel that the place has a lot of good stories to tell.

部屋も昭和の合宿、ご主人一泊２食の話だったのに、は子供の料理も付けてくれずに、別料金を取られ車も止められず、パーキング。もう二度と無い。

子どもの合宿で利用しました、改善して欲しい所は多々ありますが20人以上の子どもが大騒ぎできるので良しとします
