ナクシャトラ レストラン

Nakshatra restaurant which is close to Yokohama stadium makes you feel homely. It gives taste buds a unique taste from India. The menu is unique and different than what you get around. Example are the north and south indian courses, South and north Indian meals. Especially the masala Dosa, kodi vepudu, vada just brings back memories from India.
I personally enjoyed tandoori chicken which is so well marinaded and has authentic spices. The biryani is next to heaven in Japan. Cleanliness is one important factor and Nakashtra scores pretty high by maintaining stylish ambience. The warmth of the staff and owner makes you feel like you are dining at your home town. Lastly only negative point is that you feel like visiting again and again:)

The owner is super friendly and they have a prayer space inside Alhamdulillah. All Muslims can come to this restaurant.

I went there for the first time
It's a walkable distance from the station. I ordered Mutton BiryaniI am very satisfied with the taste. It's too delicious! I really recommend it.you can eat a good amount at a reasonable price. Also the staff are friendly. MUST VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN

The food was delicious. The curry was nice and smooth and well seasoned. The cheese naan was good and not to overbearing. The staff kind and easy to talk to. For the portions given, the price was very reasonable. I will definitely return the next time I am in the area.

ランチで伺いました。中華街の北東側、加賀町警察署の近くです。中華以外が食べたいと思って探してたところ、建物の2階にかまえていました。
細い会談をあがり、店内は清潔で各テーブルにお水のジャグがおいてありました。ナンを千切って食べ、べたついた手でお水のお代わりに苦労するので、ありがたかったです。
メニューは北インド風のカレーやナン。南インド風のご飯や薄いクレープのような生地で食べるカレーもありました。
カレー2品とナン、サラダがついて1200円、ナンのおかわりは、1枚100円でした。
カレーは、６種類から選ぶ事が出来ます。私はほうれん草とチーズ、バターチキンを選びました。ほうれん草とチーズは、ピザ用チーズを入れてくるお店が有る中、淡白なゴロッとした白いチーズが入っていました。バターチキンはケチャップを沢山入れてくるお店が有りますが、しっかりとスパイスのある、それでもって美味しいカレーでした。
観光地中華街で、普通にカレーうれしかったです。コスパ的にもう一声かなと思い、４つとさせていただきます

It was my second visit in 3yrs. As an Indian I visit Indian restaurant to feel like home. Mr. Ravi (Owner) is a kind person, who arranged our vegetarian food without onion and garlic. However I feel he has some problems with his poor attitude in communication that spoils his hospitality. That must be improved because chef is putting good effort to cook delicious foods. I felt bit disappointed last night and would never visit him again.

The best Indian in Yokohama! Great atmosphere and wonderful caring staff. Delicious food. Perfect for any occasion.

Had mostly South Indian dishes
Idly / Dosa / Utappam and Lemon Rice
While they were good, Chutneys could have been better

Authentic South Indian restaurant 5 mins away from Yamashita park.
Good ambience and music and equally good food.
The Wada’s were crisp and the food was not loaded with oil.
Coconut chutney lacked the punch

A bit too runny and not spicy enough for my taste. Excellent value though. Service was good and this was the first time I've been somewhere with an all you can eat offer (on naan bread) where the staff made a point of offering you more.

Another great meal last night at Nakshatra. Ravi’s dishes are amazing. A favorite place of ours and our Indian friends. They always say that it reminds them of home.

It's a great place to enjoy vegetarian authentic South Indian food - and you can always ask the friendly owner for more coconut chutney with your dosa

北と南インドの料理があり、よくあるナンとカレー以外の料理も楽しめます（そちらはまだ頂いてませんが）
平日によく行きますが、マトン、チキン、野菜カレーなど、それぞれ特徴があり、辛すぎず日本人の味覚に合っていると思います。
平日はナンのおかわりが自由なのもです。

平日のランチに初めてお邪魔しました。南インド料理が好きであちこち食べ歩いています。レモンライスとタンドールチキンを頼みましたが、辛さは抑えているもののスパイスはしっかり効いているので、汗が出てきました。メニューには珍しいジーラライスもあるので、本格的です。再訪すると思います。

I visited Nakshatra twice. First time the manager was behaving very nicely as we went thr with our South Indian friends may be that's the reason he was so nice.
Food was OK not so good not so bad.
Seeing the good behaviour and politeness of the manager yesterday we visited again with our guests.

While ordering food my guest requested the manager that we are very hungry so pls try to bring the order little early. Then too he came back with one order after 20minutes. (Here I want to suggest the manager that atleast offer a papad or some peanuts or anything which is affordable to you.)
Secondly, we ordered Kerala laccha paratha which was a frozen paratha which they microwaved and gave to us with curry. When we were eating that paratha it was hard and tasteless (If you are charging good price for paratha then at least try to give fresh Paratha else remove it from your menu.)
Next coming towards customer delight, In front of us the manager very rudely replied to a Lady who just asked him about the area where she can do hand wash. Might be she came there before also and would have asked the same question but the behaviour of the manager was totally unacceptable. Its your duty to reply back nicely if someone is asking you may be 10th time. In Japan, I have never seen anyone speaking so rudely especially with customers. I visited many Indian, Nepali, Japanese, Chinese, Italian restaurants but nowhere saw a person like this. Try to change your attitude may be you are running this restaurant from many years but that doesn't matter at all if you are rude with your customers as they are the source of running your restaurant.

Its a long post but I'm very disappointed with your behavior and hospitality. Food quality can be adjusted but no compromise with behavioural issues.
And I will never visit Nakshatra again also I will never recommend anyone.
