I ordered the carne asada tacos, a chicken quesadilla and a modelo.
The meat had good flavor, but it was tough to chew. The pieces of meat were larger than normal for tacos, but tough like I said. The tortilla was small like street taco size, a little on the dry side. Salsa was red, with basically no spice.a tomato salsa, if you will. We asked for limes and they gave us lemon wedges. Quesadilla was okay, my son ate it all.
Cost- 4,235 yen= $31.37 which is ridiculous. Lol

The drinks are good the food not so great. I got the tacos de asada and I was disgusted. All fat and no meat. Did not enjoy that meal I was very disappointed. Amazing customer service though he was very polite.

If you are looking for authentic or Americanized Mexican food, look elsewhere. The chicken quesadilla was made with a cut up hotdog and mozzarella cheese and appeared to be prepared with a microwave. The salsa tastes like spaghetti sauce with a little hot sauce mixed in. And it's pricey. Hard pass.

I was carving mexican food so I went here.
It was disappointing.
Guacamole was meh.
Their food has too much liquid.

I don't know what happened to this place but it is not as good as it used to be. Got the enchiladas rojas. Rojas was like ketchup with seasoning. The enchiladas were cold in the middle, when they took it back it was a quick microwave and dried it out. Really undeveloped compared to how it used to be. I won't be back.

They also no longer use flank steak, but thin sliced for their carne asada. Not as good.

The closest thing you'll get to authentic in Yokosuka. Not spot on but it does enough to satisfy those late night taco cravings. A little on the pricey side tho.

Would've been 3 stars but the price brought it down an extra peg. 1600 yen for 4 small tacos.c'mon bruh! Probably why you can't see the menu; prices are waaaaay toooo much

When I saw the menu items I wanted to ask for 2 pastor and 2 carnitas but was told the meat is pre-weighed already (first red flag)

Saw the price and still opted in getting it (second red flag)

Dish came out and presentation was nice but the sauce looked weak. Like from a can weak. No kick and nothing stronger (third red flag)

All in all, I shoulda just gone somewhere else. Woulda been more full from taco bell and there I know what I'm getting into

Hard pass from now on

This is honestly the place to go of you want authentic Mexican food. Definitely will come again!

It’s so so Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is not in Japan haha. I wanted to have good guacamole. Of course they have it but hmm not perfect which want not what I was looking for.

Excellent tasting Mexican food similar to "authentic" but not heavy. Really good and I thought the prices were good as well

日本人が求めるレベルの接客は求めないで下さい。 (現地もこんなんだろなとおおらかに受け止められる方にはお薦めです。)

Food was good but way to expensive, they didn't have the beer thay had advertised on there sidewalk sign, the salsa was fresh but had pickled jalapenos and they had no lime. Also one of my pork carnitas was all fat. Food and 2 beers 3500 yen. Yaz taco is better in comparison to the price.

Azteca is a cozy restaurant with a warm interior, that seats about 15 people. It takes time for your food probably because of a small kitchen and tiny workforce, but it is worth the wait. The guacamole was accented with great red onion and lime flavors, as was the salsa, which was a little more like Pico. I was excited to find Horchata in Japan. They let me substitute chicken in the burrito and it was stewed and very tender and flavorful. The burrito and enchiladas were very good, the chicken mole could have used more sauce and more richness to the flavor. They serve white rice and stewed beans, both were yummy. This place has its own little flair and it made my heart happy to find some great comfort food.

Good food, very pricey for dishes that are quite tasty but don't have much to them so I'm undecided if it's worth the price. Staff is great, space is small

Been to 15 Mexican restaurants in Japan, from Kyushu to Tokyo. This one is not only the best tasting-it's really actual Mexican food. Worth every penny.

Additionally the staff are very kind and make every effort to ensure the meal meets your needs.
As someone who grew up in SoCal eating Mexican food all the time I can't emphasize enough that for high quality, delicious Mexican food Aztecas has my highest recommendation

Small portions, over priced, shabby interior.honestly just go to Chili's, may not be "authentic" but your gut and wallet will thank you

The food here is delicious. If you are craving Paruvian, this is the place to go! The menu is in Spanish and Japanese. The waiter spoke a little English. My husband and I tried a beef and chicken dish. The portions were large and the flavors we're great. The meat was very tender. It is very small inside and the smoke from the cooking comes into the dining room, so just be aware you will smell like the food when you leave! They also do take out.

Add Peruvian cuisine to the list of foods you'll be hankering for in the middle of the night. This restaurant offers delicious, unique and generous portions. They make it fresh, so don't expect McDonald's service speed, but it is more than worth the wait! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the restaurant itself is very tiny. If you're looking to have a private conversation, that won't happen because the place can become quite cramped. Also, the cooks definitely care more about taste than plating aesthetics, but damn, it's good taste. This is a MUST SEE for any foodie!

Had a great experience here. Food was full of flavor and there was south American beer. Staff was friendly and helpful. This place is a great change from the other restaurant styles the area. The beef&french fry dish is a must try.
