Chili's Restaurant (Yokosuka)

Service was excellent, the tone and aesthetic was just right, and the food was fantastic. I had the Alask Salmon which had a fresh taste, cooked and seasoned just right for me to savor maximum flavor! Just the way a salmon should be cooked, in my opinion of course. The rice and broccoli made wonderful accents to the dish as well as the generous touch of the basil sauce. Absolutely splendid performance to the team here.

I ordered the sirloin steak (med-rare) and it wasn't even cooked! The mashed potatoes and broccoli that came with it was good though.

It's an open sit down diner during Covid-19, and there aren't many of those. Sadly, I've never had my steak cooked anything but medium well to well done, and I always ask for medium rare. They also over season some things.

Nice option for dining on base especially if you can get views of the water. Otherwise a pretty normal Chilli's. Does lack some things like bone in chicken wings.

Food was ok. Asked for my burger to be medium rare and they pretty much ignored me and just cooked it fully. Maybe it's a policy that they don't cook the burgers to order for health reasons? That's fine but at least tell me you can't do it.

Also they were out of like 6 different things. No sauce for the chicken crispers. No pasta at all (huh?), and several appetizers and desserts were also out of stock as well. Basically whoever does their stock orders is absolutely terrible at their job.

This is Japan and the immediate geographical area is filled with amazing restaurants that all serve delicious food. The only reason restaurants exist on base is to provide a bit of that "taste of home" and if you only have half the menu in stock then what's the point?

This is an obvious failure of leadership and someone needs to get their **** together.

It was really well cleaned. They provide amazing service. Theyre only doing take out but its still a great option to have. The menu is smaller compare to before covid but Definitely good.

Sitting at the bar on a slow Sunday evening, waiting, waiting.waiting. Disappointment begins to set in following 15 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment, that perhaps I made a wrong turn—that there are decisions made in life that lead to irreversible consequences, the passage of time slipping through my grasp, what have I done? What. Have. I. Done? Then I realize I’m sitting in a Chili’s. I promptly give up my seat without fanfare, go about the rest of my evening, and never look back. I’m sorry, what was I saying?

If you like your food to come out looking delicious but nice and cold in the middle, this is the place for you. I have been here a handful of times and in recent visits decided to get the fajitas. Only once did they come out sizzling. I guess if I wanted food from a freezer it would be more cost effective to shop the clearance section at the gas station.
