温泉ゲストハウスHAKONE TENT

食事はしていないだけなので、気にしないで欲しい。
少しミスはあったりするものの、雰囲気がいいサービスをしてくれる。
アットホームなイメージ。
温泉は予約制のものがあるため、入りたい時間帯があるなら早めに予約しておくことを勧める。
別館もあり、今回はそこを借りたのだが、周りを気にしないで友人達と楽しめる (防音な訳では無い) 。別館にもシャワーはあることにはあるが、冬だと寒いので温泉の方に入ることを勧める。

Didn't stay at the hostel but went there for dinner and drinks. The staff were more than welcoming and beyond friendly. Not only is it one of the only places in Gora for a reasonable price on food and alcohol but surpassed my expectations. Yes the lasagna is that good. Yes you'll meet a lot of great people and have a great time. If you don't want to mingle then there's amazing cozy nooks with comfortable tables to drink at and soak in the atmosphere. I never would of thought this spot would be the highlight of my hakone trip

夫婦で夕食付きプランを利用しました。
下調べをして雰囲気などは想像していたのですが、想像以上に良かったです。

温泉まで入れる！
BARのピザもおいしかったです

お部屋は2人部屋の和室でしたが
昔ながらの畳部屋、お布団もふかふかで
最高に癒されました

浴衣は受付で有料でかりられるようですが、うちは作務衣と甚平を持参しました。
和室の窓辺で文豪気取りで写真を撮りました（笑）

スタッフさんの対応も大変素晴らしく、また行きたいと思いました。

実は、余り期待はしていなかったが良い意味で裏切られました。
ナスのラザニアは、ミートソースが抜群に美味くペロリと食べてしまいました。
ピザはスペシャルを注文。本日はナスの味噌風味ピザでしたが、味噌が香ばしくとても美味しくいただきました。
料金も観光地単価ではなくコスパも良く、当たり店舗でした。騙されたと思い行ってみる価値はありです。

A beautiful, lively place with personality. The menu includes the best lasagna you will get in Hakone and handmade pizzas, as well as a couple of meat dishes. A soulful preparation and presentation.

Nicely renovated common areas with old style ryokan rooms, pretty much everything but the rooms seems new. Pizza and beer available. 2 onsen baths to be used in the establishment, one reserved (40 minutes per use) and the other a free for all - first come first served. They are directly next to each other in the basement. You will be met with a ¥150 charge per person on arrival for onsen tax. The rooms do have air cons and they will keep you warm although aren't the newest so take time. 1 tiny parking space available - call ahead if you need to use. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Washrooms have amenities such as shampoo, conditioner & body soap. Easy to hear noise
from other rooms but staff note to be quiet in late hours and the common areas closed by 10pm.

お食事をさせて頂きました。
ラザニアとピザを食べたのですが、とても美味しかったです！ラザニアは想像していたより小さくて、足りないかと不安でしたが、分厚くてしっかり満足出来ました！
店員のお兄さんも気さくに話しかけてくださって、おしゃれな雰囲気の中でとても楽しむことが出来ました！

清潔で、スタッフの対応もよく、古い建物をおしゃれにリノベーションした快適なゲストハウスでした。

軽くサラダをいただきましたが、ドレッシングも美味しく、場の雰囲気もよかったです。

宿泊の方は、温泉付き️

I stayed in a 6 person dorm for a night.
The facilities are well kept and nice and I was able to get the smaller onsen to use by myself and it was very relaxing.
Only 4 stars thought because there’s some ringing noise or something in and around the building that inhibited me from falling asleep quicker than I wanted to.
Other than that a very nice and fine hostel, but word of advice bring your own slippers to use because if there’s a lot of people you may end up without a pair to walk around with.

Nice atmosphere. Many young people are here.
It is located near by Gora station, but there is a steep climb in the middle.
In the hostel there are many steps.
There are only 3 showers (and 2 onsens)

Great location. Directly off one of the train lines. Nice onsen. 2 private options. Yummy breakfast can be purchased for about $5. Rooms are not sound proof, but the price of the rooms reflect that. Traditional bedding. Would return.

Very cozy travelers' inn. Kind staff and can speak in english. Conveniently located near Gora station.they have 2 private onsens on a first come first serve basis.

ゲストハウスとしての設備は整っている。古い建物を改装した関係上、古いところも目につくものの、清潔。持ち込み可のバーでまったりできるところは素晴らしい。温泉は24時間入れるのも良いところ、一応源泉掛け流しとのことだが、源泉はチョロチョロ。石風呂の方は温度がぬるい、が、温泉にこの値段で入れるだけで文句はない。いい宿だと思う。

The staff was extremely friendly, spoke strong English, and provided amazing food and service. The room itself was quite large compared to other hostel and hotel rooms. We had a balcony (couldn't go outside, but the entire room was surrounded by windows), storage for two luggages, and enough room to sleep and walk around.

The public baths downstairs accommodate 1-2 people and 1-4 people respectively. They're public baths, but they're private in the sense that no one else can enter once you've entered. You technically reserve the bath for you, and whoever else you want to bathe with (mixed bathing is okay), for a time limit of 30 minutes.

10/10 experience. The location is very close to the station, but also a school and small park. There will be kids yelling at certain times of the day, but that shouldn't influence your stay here at all. Make sure to take some time to drink with the staff downstairs, they're fantastic. Shout out to Yoshiko!

Such a wonderful guesthouse! Very cozy in typical Japanese style. With the private onsen and super close to the train station.

Stayed at the apartment for 6, it was a very nice place for a group of friends or family. Very nicely furnished in modern yet Japanese styled design and comes with a toilet. I like the wooded cottage finish very much.
Staff were very friendly and could speak english and Mandarin. You could use the private onsen on first come first serve basis.

Great hotel especially for the price. Convenient location near to the local train station. This is pretty a really great place to but down your stuff and sleep in while you spend the day in Hakone.

While we were here we had the unexpected pleasure of a random belly dancing performance in the small area the had in the cosy restaurant, which also has a iMac for guests to use. Even met a random friendly local traveller who had motorbiked down from another part of Japan.

Really nice hostel with the most friendly staff. It's great for social people due to the nice common area. There is a piano and guitars to play some music.

Staff were so helpful in helping me book a bus ticket online. They have asahi black on tap! The onsen on-site was incredibly relaxing. The rooms were cold at night despite the heater overhead.

The staff of the hotel are its best asset, follow by a delicious and straight forward menu. The 500¥ breakfast of soup and break was demolished by my kids, best heart warming soup I had in Japan.
The rooms are a bit dated but take you back to a traditional guess house experience, if in Japan you have to experience it. From all the hotels we stayed it was the only with a private spa, a definite plus.
