MWR Bowling Center

フレンドシップデーで行ってきました。
ボウリングはせずに食事のみの利用でしたが、ボウリングは基地の方も一般の方も凄く楽しまれてました。
食事はバーガーとポテト、コーラを頂きました。
ケチャップ・マスタードがかけ放題で、飲み物はもらったカップに入れ放題と、まさにアメリカンなスタイルでした。

2023年3月25日 (土) に開催された「日米親善 よこすかスプリングフェスタ 2023」で横須賀基地が一般開放された際に、建物に入ってみました。久しぶりの基地の一般開放でスゴイ人混みでした。
雰囲気だけですが、アメリカンな感じが体験できました。

Clean, large and well maintained. Open most days for parties or open bowl as well as hosting a league. Little cafe for fried foods, pizza is okay but could use more heat to the bottom of the crust.

For beer lovers like me, this is a definitely good place where you can enjoy beer and snacks from lunch (^o^)

Best pizza on base, they accept card payments only. Service is good. The shoes are old bring your own if you have them. Lanes can be extra slick so proceed with caution.

10年以上前になりますが、横須賀の米軍基地内にあるこちらのボウリング場で開催されたケーゲルの大会に参加させていただきました。

レーンコンディションは超ロング、超ショートのフラットコンディションをカバーボールで競うかなりタイトな試合でしたが、PBAの選手と共にとても貴重な体験ができました。

ボウリング場はとてもキレイで、米兵のご家族と思われる方々が遊んでいたり、食事の際は、日本では考えられないほどの大きさのピザがあったり、まるで海外にきているようでした。

I can't believe how clean the bowling center is, the shoes fit well and it's very easy to go bowling. It has a good variatiy of games and i recommend playing with your friends because it will give competition. If you're hungry don't worry since there is resturant inside and the food is very delicious. If you don't want to go bowling for some reason then there is a casino, toy dispensors, and arcade machines. There is a good selection of
games to play, like you can gamble and get toys and coins. You can always find the right size bowling ball easily and you can put your stuff into lockers if you stay for a long.

One of our go-to rainy day family activities - especially during COVID times when a lot of off base indoor activities are off limits. Cost for an hour for a family is very reasonable. Lanes and equipment are all up to date. The food though is typical bowling alley food - greasy pizza, etc.

Pros: Love the evening bowling with lights. Music is awesome. Clean bathrooms. Staff is relatively pleasant. Plenty of lanes
Cons: No juice options for foundation drinks which is a pain for small children you dont want to give soda. PIZZA IS HORRIBLE (cardboard)

You can play bowling while watching AFN sports channels!
They have some "bowling party" menus with Mean Gene's Burgers, so you can enjoy with your family, friends, colleagues!

Solid option for bowling. The food is alright, I actually like the pizza here. It's very thin sliced and I like the crust. The only downside is how greasy it can be. Really cheap bowling though so it's a good time.

スロットマシンのコーナーがありますが、日本人は使えません。
ボーリング場内に｢Mean Gene's Burgers｣というハンバーガー屋があります。
