The food is so yummy and they have the best Iskender kebab, appetizers. Also the stuff is very nice i think Truva is one of the best Turkish restaurants in japan
tesekkue ederim!
IMPORTANT: The one star has nothing to do with the food. By all accounts, it's great, although I cannot vouch for that personally. To see why, read on:
I was really looking forward to going to Truva; I'd heard so many good things about it. A vegan friend of mine decided to meet for lunch there (I'm vegetarian). After finally finding a time we could meet, we only had his lunch break available, which was a long lunch, but he drove in from Tokyo, so time was of the essence. Before we met, to make sure, I checked both Truva's Facebook page and their website to make sure the restaurant was open. There was no indication on the internet that it wasn't.
There are two entrances to the basement area where Truva is located. We met at the one on the north side of the building and proceeded downstairs. Since this was at 11: 25 or so, the restaurant was closed, as would be expected from a place which opens at 11: 30. We waited until 11: 40 or 45, and the restaurant wasn't just closed: it was dark. We knocked, but there was no answer. We walked back upstairs, and circling around to the east side, discovered a hastily-written "Closed" sign posted over the restaurant's name on the display at that entrance. We then had to hastily find another restaurant in the area that could serve a vegan, which took another 25 minutes or so. In then end, we had to wolf down a not very good lunch in a hurry because Truva didn't a) post online that it was closed that day, and b) put a sign of some sort on the actual door of the restaurant.
I'll update this review when I have a chance to go back there and actually try the food.
