鶴の家旅館

I stayed here while I was walking the ohenro and overall I didn't have a pleasant experience. I cannot recommend it specially if you are a foreigner in Japan. From the moment I made the reservation through a phone call I could sense that I wasn't being trusted. It all got worse when I got there and arrived at the same time with my Japanese friend. Only I was asked for a copy of my ID with the excuse that "lately police is being annoying", while my Japanese friend wasn't asked anything. After that, even though they had written in their web that the price for staying without meals was 3,360 yen they told me that they didn't update it and that now it was 4500 yen. Terrible experience.

2021年3月遍路でお世話になりました。女将さんのご配慮には感謝です。洗濯して頂きました。料理も美味しかったです。

A decent traditional Japanese inn with good food. The infrastructure is rather old but functional (there is wifi). The room was super beautiful. A good place to stay at during the pilgrimage.

Old building, a bit worn, soundproofing between rooms is not very good. Nice people, nice bath, the food was good. No Wi-Fi, speak a little English. 6500¥ with two meals.

両足のまめが潰れて歩くのがつらかったのですが、昼の12時前にも関わらずチェックインさせていただき、ゆっくり休む事が出来ました。ありがとうございました。

女将の対応等良いところが多かったのですが、暖房が (エアコン) 効きにくいのが、残念でした。
