こビジターセンターでの素晴らしい体験。スタッフはとても親切で歓迎してくれました。彼らはとても上手な英語を話しました。無料でできるものもたくさんありました。折り紙をしたり、名前を漢字に訳してもらいました。

奈良に来たらぜひ立ち寄ってみてください！次回はここの宿にも実際に泊まってみたいと思います。

Great place with lovely people and lots of things to experience about Japan culture.
I just stopped by the center on a rainy day but had an unforgettable memory here.

日本人ですが3泊しました。窓から五重塔が朝も昼も夕も夜も見えます。表情は時間ごとに変わるのですが、それがいつでも見れるのが素晴らしいです。あと、ホテルのサービスがとても温かく手厚くそれはそれはほっこりします。ならまちにも徒歩1分、ほろ酔い気分で簡単に帰れます。8畳の部屋を一人で使わせていただきました。
スタッフの皆様、感謝です。

The fact that you can stay at a hotel in such a great location with a beautiful view of a pond and historic pagoda for less than 8000 yen/night is pretty amazing.

Obviously, you're not going to be staying in a high-end exclusive joint, but if you don't need that, this is a great hotel.

It's a 10 minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station and 15 minutes from JR Nara Station. It's right on a pond and there are deer that come right up to the hotel. It's right by the steps that go up to a nice shrine, an old pagoda, and two museums. It's also right by the main shopping arcade. It's basically the perfect location for a vacation in Nara.

The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. There is a free sento (public bath) in the basement for guests. There is also a Daily convenience store right in the hotel. The first floor also houses a tourist information centre.

There are western and Japanese-style rooms, and both have amazing views. I've stayed in both, and they were both comfortable, with the basics, including shower, toilet, closet, mini fridge, air conditioning (great in summer!), TV, and more. You can also use the kitchens and borrow various kitchen equipment if you want to cook your own food.

The only problem, which is the same in just about any hotel, is sometimes the other guests might be a little noisey, but it wasn't too bad. I'm an early-to-bed type, but everyone was quiet by a decent time. There were a bunch of kids talking one evening, and another evening the nextdoor couple were doing something which sounded related to the birds and the bees. C'est la vie.

一泊だけ隣室に家族連れが入室。ドタバタ五月蝿い子供と父親の話し声が結構聞こえた。壁はかなり薄い。この一点だけが残念。

Everything I expected and more! The room was quite large and the staff was very courteous. I would certainly return.

Excellent value for money. Rooms are very spacious and will have a semi-ryokan feels especially with the tatami mats. I enjoyed my stay here as it was very well located right in the middle of town with easy access to Nara Park, Naramachi, and restaurants.

The rooms are located above Nara Visitor Centre and the staff at the Centre can converse with you in both English and Mandarin which is a life saver for foreigners. You can also take part is activities they organise such tea making ceremony or origami. There is also a convenience store located at the lower ground for your late night snacks or breakfast the next day.

My only feedback was on the room layout which was not so practical. For example the toilet and bathroom are at one corner of the room whilst the sink is at the other corner. These are minor inconveniences which can be overlooked in totality.

Nara Visitor Center & Inn is simply the best. Lovely accommodations located centrally with access to many points of interest and the most helpful, kind staff. Our Japanese style room had an amazing view of the 5 story pagoda and the lake. They have complimentary daily classes for origami and calligraphy for all. When you come to Nara, this should be your first stop to learn about nearby attractions- and if you need affordable accommodations, don’t hesitate to book your stay here!

フロントの女性スタッフの対応が素晴らしく、奈良に来て良かったと思いました。駅からは少し遠いけど、観光地のど真ん中です。繁華街でもないので、夜は静かですよ。夜の散歩では鹿と遭遇するので、昼のあいだに鹿せんべいを仕入れて下さい。

An amazing place to stay, or a must to visit before sightseeing or exploring. Maps of various areas, and some fun things to do, as well as lots of advice and info for enjoying the most of what Nara has to offer! And a perfect location, between the temples to the northeast, shopping to the west, and the old city south. And say hi to Jay! He has a wonderful sense of humor, and many stories about things in the city. Worth starting here

Great location, few minutes away from Nara park and other locations. I stayed in the traditional Japanese room with tatami mats, super clean and spacious, great price too! There’s an activity room on the second floor, they teach you Origami, calligraphy, and etc, all of which are free! Friendly staff who would recommend and help you. Shout out to Jay who recommended me a restaurant near by called Ajimi, which is owned by a former Geisha, super authentic. Be sure to check it out! Super impressed by the visitor center and Nara people as well. Will definitely visit again!

You can find very useful tour info of the vicinity in this center. Staffs are able to communicate with chinese and english. They even provide some fun tourist program like japanese origami.

Best tourist information in the world. We got invited to some super fun and informative cultural activities - origami, calligraphy and getting our names translated to Kanji - all for free and with the kindest and most fun guidance. Absolute recommendation!

The go out of their office searching for tourists inviting them to their place where they offer the best information about the area, advice, also they offer a variety of quite interesting activities.

Do yourself a favour and stay in this hotel! We stayed in the traditional Japanese room (with tatami mats). The room was super comfortable, view was AMAZING, staff was very kind, and location was central to the park! They also offer free luggage storage (before check in and after check out), communal kitchen, guest lounge on the 3rd floor, tourism info and lots more! Also the price is great especially knowing what is included in your stay!

Extremely well placed everything thing is close by and there is even a convenience store on the first floor. Staffed was very helpful and even helped us out when we needed information about a certain location, and even called that location for more information. Room was very clean and quiet although the beds aren't really comfortable. Also be careful when using hot water as it could probably boil a lobster. Very spacious and many places to relax/eat. Would absolutely go back if I ever visit Nara again. Great view from the room.

Stop in when visiting Nara and learn origami and shodo (Japanese calligraphy) from the very friendly and encouraging staff.
