五條市新町まちや館（木村篤太郎生家・旧辻家住宅）

こんなに身近に、偉大な方が居られたとは、知らなかった。勉強になりました。

通りも閑静でいいです。

昔の五條の様子を分かりやすく説明してくれます。スタンプラリーしてました。五條の絵はがきもらいました。

たくさんの興味深い展示がありました。実際に使用されてた古民家というのがまた良いですね

This city is beautiful, and the cafe is really nice. I don't understand there weren't more people! The old city itself is very well preserved with Japanese style white & wooden buildings, for a pretty long stretch as well! The cafe itself is also nice. The interior is appealing, there is a display on the most famous fireworks maker in Japan (who is from there), the drinks menu is non standard in the best way, and there is even a studio that you can rent for art related events. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and is happy to give more information on the history of the town, people, and the cafe. I recommend both this city and this cafe! Would definitely come again. Hopefully during the next fireworks festival, and I'll aim to be staying in the old city.

初代法務大臣を吉田内閣で務めた木村篤太郎翁の生家です。案内の方がより木村氏に興味が沸く語り口で色々充分に説明してくれました。
是非五條市にお越しの際には立ち寄られることをお勧めします。
