8A park which has many Japanese sika deer here. The location is very near with the Kintetsu-Nara station. Here, you can just play around with the deer, or feed them with the cracker (sika senbei) from the vendors cost for 200 yen. They will go to you if you feed them. Also, near this place, you can find many tourists spot such as the temple and shrine.
So many deer everywhere. Please watch out for your belongings. They will eat anything! Or nip on your clothes and bags.
Pro Tip: If you put your hands up, that usually signals to them that you don't have crackers.
Watch out for fleas!
まずシカが可愛いのが最高です。
また、東大寺の入場料が大人600円というのはすごく安い設定だなと思いました。
600円で、こんなに歴史のある素晴らしい建物に触れられるのはすごいと思います。
Deer are so good, if i have more time i want to spent my time for giving food (
Osembe) cost ¥200 you can buy in small store located in park, where some deer are waiting.
この場所は修学旅行で 一度きました でもあまり記憶に残ってなかったのですが 今回はゆっくり観察できるので良かったです鹿がとても可愛かったです 餌があるから 逃げないのですね I went to this place once on a school trip, but I didn't remember much about it, but this time I was able to take my time and observe the deer.
One of the best things I've done in my life. The deer are so amazing and there's a ton of them everywhere. They're even wandering the surrounding city. Seeing them in the light snow was something?
The famous park in Nara for seeing the famous deer. There are multiple deer cracker carts that you can purchase food from to feed the deer. In the mornings, this place is packed with deer, but in the afternoon, they tend to head across the street to the Nara museum for their midday nap. It’s actually quite a sight to see - they just get up and walk over as if they all know it’s time to go. If you’re here in the morning, it’s nice to feed the deer, and yes, they do bow at you. They also nip you when they’re being aggressive. But by midday, most of them are full, and don’t want any more food, so come early. Across the street from the park is a Starbucks and a few restaurants, so it’s conveniently located. A must see if you’re in the Kyoto area.
