鶏田村（とりたむら）

The waiter rejected my walkin request and told me they were closed when I arrived around 20: 30 but they accepted two Japanese walkin just after me. This is a very bad restaurant. They are not welcome foreigner.

Great food, great environment on 2/F. There were variety of chicken dishes, including salad, skewer, and TKG (egg on rice). The chicken they provided are high quality meat, the best chicken I have ever had. They also provide chicken kidney and heart skewers, I didn't try but my friend said they are excellent, they are really experienced in roasting skewers! The most important thing is not expensive at all!

Yakitori restaurant, just across the road from Nara Station. Small downstairs, but also upstairs seating. Yakitori fresh and generally good, with good, quick service. Beer cold, which is important after a long day wandering round Nara. Seems to get crowded in the evening, so recommend getting there on the dot of 5: 30, or making a reservation, which will require Japanese. Menus available, and very understandable, in English, if you are not fluent in yakitori.

Great food, service and cosy atmosphere.

Staff are super friendly and enthusiastic! English menu’s and no trouble clarifying menu items.

The only downside for me was not being able to try a greater selection of the menu.

Be aware it is a smoking establishment, so carefully select a place to sit.

Being so close to Nara station is a plus too! Would definitely go back.

Very good food and sake, some fish mostly beef dishes and a kind of omelettes seen to be their speciality. Very limited English menu.

旅行の時に伺いましたが、当日でもたまたま入ることが出来ました。人気のお店に感じました！
店員さんもキビキビ動いていい感じ。店内はめちゃくちゃ狭いです (笑)
どうしても仕方ないのですが、分煙ではないのでタバコを吸わない身としてはちょっと辛かったです。

Everything is delicious and fresh! They have English menu, which is friendly for foreigners. The staff are very friendly. Grilled chicken gizzards are highly recommended. You can also follow their recommendations.

The chicken yakitoris are so great. But the recommended dishes is not my favorite.and English menu available
