Hotel Bergland is a treat. Yamada SAN and his wife are extremely hospitable. The rooms are basic, but just what we needed. Food is excellent and the onsite hot tub is lovely after a ski.

We loved staying at Bergland! Our host, Yamada San, was an absolute delight and was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was warm, welcoming and well-appointed and close to restaurants and Madarao Kogen ski area. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.
