英語のキッズキャンプに参加させていただきました。初対面のお友達とも仲良くなれたり、高原ならではの自然体験と英語との融合で、楽しく学ぶことができたようです。子どもたちが親元を離れ、色々な体験をさせていただきありがたかったです。外人さんとも抵抗なく、楽しく学ぶことができて良かったです。

We absolutely loved our time in Myoko and Japow House! We have done a Japan snow trip almost every year and have tried a number of mountains and lodgings, whilst all have been great, Japow house and Myoko is by far our favourite and will now be our go to destination when chasing some of the world famous Japan Powder. Kimmy helped my fiancé propose and the whole lodge celebrated with us which was really lovely and made us feel really special? Thank you again guys for a trip that we will never forget!

I loved everything about JAPOWHOUSE! Kimi and Miyu were so helpful and was always just an email away leading up to our trip.

Their guest house is so much more than I had expected. The beds were comfy and the Double bedroom had lots of space for my luggage. We stayed in a “Western” Style room. There was plenty of hot water and clean washrooms.
They have a dry room for all your powder filled gear and even a waxing room if you want to give your ride some love. They also have a full bar with great craft beer and yummy tasting Japanese spirits, in case you dont want to leave the house.

The house is situated about a 10 - 15 min walk from one of the chairlifts and about a 2 min drive from the gondola. There are lots of tasty food and cafes nearby but Miyu’s cutlet sandwiches were such a yummy treat! They also have this amazing little coffee machine that is great!
Miyu and Kimi were just the most amazing hosts. Kind and funny they made us feel like we were staying with friends we’ve known for a long time. All of their suggestions for which hill to go to, foods to eat and sightseeing things to do were all amazing. They even arranged an excursion for us to see the Snow Monkeys, a Beautiful art museum and a delicious Sake tasting. They also helped arrange for my luggage to be sent to the airport so I could travel a bit more without the extra bag!

I was extremely sad to leave Kimi and Miyu and hope to return sooner rather than later. Thanks also to Nick who was super fun and helpful in giving us the great places to find late night food!
If you find yourself headed to Myoko definitely stay out here such a wonderful experience!

I was lucky enough to spend this New Years Eve at Japow house with Kimi, Miyu and Nick! They were fantastic hosts who did everything professional to make us feel looked after, but went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home celebrating with family! It was a hilarious night I won't soon forget! The whole trip they were extremely helpful, giving excellent suggestions when asked and doing everything they could to make us feel cared for. My friends and I had a great experience at Japow House and would definitely go back to say hi to our new friends:)

The owners Kimmy and Miyu are incredible hosts. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay with excellent local knowledge, this is it.
