Myoko Kogen has some of Japan’s best back country. Easy living and no crowds. The reasons why I go back every year. 2019 March

This myoko kogen is a great set of ski resorts. The snow was metres deep, the bars and food shops are good
Great time to be visiting this area as the crowds have not yet found this great area.

Had a great time in Myoko Kogen. It's getting pretty busy there but still plenty of snow around if you know where to look.

Traditional Japanese ski village.barely any Western tourists, just the way it should be. If you go, don't tell anyone.
