Possibly the best snow gear rental shop in Japan! Super friendly and helpful staff. No queues. Expert advice. New and high quality gear. Excellent cafe for lunch and coffee and lastly great instructors. Make sure to pre-book your gear online for 10% off!

My 7 yo daughter took 8-day full day lessens here at Myoko Snowsports. Her ski ability and confidence increased significantly during these 8 days while having a lot of fun with other kids and the instructors. The instructors made sure the kids get to learn in a relaxed and fun environment, we would definitely come back again!

Would give these guys ten stars if I could. Incredible ski school with the best team of ski instructors we’ve come across. Their children’s lesson programs are fantastic, our two girls who normally hate lessons absolutely love their lessons in Myoko and their improvement in skill each day is phenomenal. Absolutely next level service in terms of looking after clients (one of their team drove us too and from hospital when my husband had a ski accident, and translated what the Japanese doctor was telling us - a 3 hour round trip). This our second year hiring gear and having lessons with Myoko Snowsports and we would recommend them to anyone and hope to come back again! Thanks guys!

Can't speak highly enough of the team at Myoko Snowsports. We popped in there several times to buy snow gear and accessories, and to enquire about lessons. I mostly spoke with Rikki in the main store, he was always really friendly, helpful and accomodating. The lesson I had with Cajun was brilliant! As an adult beginner I was nervous about having my first lesson, but Cajun was really patient and made me feel at ease, and am not hooked and can't wait to ski again. Thanks guys!

We really appreciated the friendly and professional approach of all of the staff, the kids loved their lessons and so did the grown ups, and we especially appreciated your efforts in making sure our teenager enjoyed her time at ski school - she ended up absolutely loving it.

These guys go above and beyond to make every part of your ski holiday as amazing as possible. Ski instructors are all extremely good and every single staff member is a bliss to interact with.

Was greatly pleased with the service provided by the staff, they were very proactive and helpful once one enters the store. The equipment were top quality and were fitted to one’s dimensions by the staff.

I was quite surprised today to see a young Australian ski instructor who couldn’t not speak any Japanese attempting to get regular Japanese skiers to escort her student kids up the lift.

Fast, knowledgeable staff and reasonably priced quality (new) rental equipment. Intermediates and advanced should definitely come here. Powder boards and fat skis also available. Staff were super pleasant and I'd love to drop by again.

Nicely located in the middle of the village. Food & Bev is great. Cafe and shop staff are super friendly and really go the extra mile. Ski instructors also deserve a special mention. Friendly with everything made easy for you. Rented powder skis and then swapped to a more on piste ski when the conditions changed and both were good fun.

Awesome team that handles rentals, lessons, and even fancy coffee. Mostly Australian crew. Basic rentals, so the fancy stuff like Jones Snowboards. They also have lessons at Myoko and Lotte Arai. Beginner lessons all the way to powder lessons and more.

This is where you can rent your snowboards and ski equipment for the season. The folks here are friendly and speak fluent english since they are non-natives. You can also sign up for classes, pick up some new gear, or get a hot chocolate in the cafe. Their snow school is located about 400m away from this shop, so don't get confused!

Great place for renting equipment or inquiries about your own equipment. Great little cafe/restaurant out the back too! Great staff - English speaking.

I was in search of a #3 allen key to make an adjustment to the walkmode mechanism on my boot, I went to 3 other stores and no luck. These awesome dudes had one, and let me keep it. Great service and very friendly.

We had 10 days with this crew and by far the most knowledgeable riders we've trained with.

We had Beej for 10 days, he seemed to know all the mountains like the back of his hand, and the skills training he provided was better than anything we've had before.

We're already planning another trip here and we won't be using anyone else other than MSS.
