フレのチームは素晴らしかったです。ホストのジェンとピートは非常に親切で、妙高とその周辺地域についての知識が豊富でした。ホテルの設備はとても良く、期待以上でした。私たちは朝食で質の高い食べ物を十分に食べたので、一日中ゲレンデを走り続けることができました。私は喜んで再びリフレに滞在し、この場所を家族や友人にお勧めします。

きな場所ではありませんが、サービスは素晴らしく、注文を受けてから作る朝食とおいしいオートミールです。ボス/ママのドライバーが駅とスキー場まで無料送迎を提供します。ホテルの温泉でのプライベートセッションを予約できるので、知らない人に正直になる必要はありません。お値段もとてもリーズナブルなので星5つとさせていただきます

Jennifer was so nice, the place is perfect for a weekend of ski in one of the best powder in the world with a onsen accessible to guests.

You won’t regret choosing this Hotel!
It is called a “hotel”, which I suppose it is with 1 large floor of very clean, well kept and accommodating rooms with comfortable western-style beds and Japanese Futon available; but the atmosphere is very different than your standard hotel run by robot-like staff. A loving human touch permeates throughout this place making it feel much more welcoming and heartwarming by the way they instantly make you feel like a well-cared-for member of the family. You won’t regret choosing this hotel where you can’t help feeling like you wished you could stay longer.
Oh, I forgot to mention the top-notch Onsen baths separated into men’s and women’s baths that even accommodate reservations so a family can have a private Onsen to themselves and they also don’t frown on guests with tattoos like most Japanese do. Also very nutritious meals that give you the energy to enjoy all the outdoor activities!

Genuine heartwarming hospitality. Jenn & Peter are superb friendly hosts who made our summer weekend stay a delight. Great rooms with comfy beds, inviting lounge space with bar and fabulous indoor/outdoor onsen facility. Delicious breakfast with locally sourced ingredients & homemade treats including chia fruit ‘pudding’ and sourdough bread. Convenient location, perfect for groups of friends or family. Visit the on-site Nomadic Physio for a massage too!

The Refre Hotel is fantastic. Jenn and Peter are lovely and make you feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning is great, and it's only a short walk to the slopes. I'll be back!

Hotel and staff were absolutely amazing! Breakfast was delightful and delicious. The hotel itself is only a couple minute walk to the slopes and restaurants.

The owners, Jenn and Peter, created such a great atmosphere in the common area that you just wanted to hang out there for hours after a long day of snowboarding. Truly a gem of a place and highly recommended.

Refre was amazing, Jen and Peter are great hosts, the location was great, close to shops, post office (ATM), very accommodating. Loved the Onsen especially after a long day out snowboarding. We chose the traditional Ryokan rooms and it was spacious and head lots of storage space. The drying room too was great for snow gear. 11/10 from the Weipa/Fiji mob

We had a lovely stay with Jen, Peter and their family at Refre Hotel. We were there for 10 days, and from the pick up at the station to the drop off when leaving, we were looked after very well. It's a smaller hotel with 9 rooms total, all upstairs, and extensive communal areas downstairs.

The daily breakfast buffet was awesome, with a huge range of fruits, yoghurt and chia bowls, eggs your way, toast, pastries, rice, and some days homemade pancakes and sourdough bread. It provided a great opportunity to stock up on some fresh food each day as an antidote to the "comfort" foods you end up getting at all the other venues for lunch and dinner.

All your bathing is done in the showers in the onsen room (separate onsens for male and female), followed by a soak in the natural hot-spring-fed waters. It was a little confronting at first adhering to onsen etiquette of no clothes or swimmers, but I quickly got over this and it became a great part of the daily ritual and Japanese cultural experience. If you're a bit shy, you can book the onsen privately for 30 minute blocks.

From the in-floor heating, to the well equipped drying room, to the board games provided in the common room, all things have been considered at Refre. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The Refre hotel is a lovely, spacious hotel in a great location in Akakura Onsen. The owners Jenn and Peter made us feel very much at home and took great care of us.

The hotel is clean and well-kept. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.

There's a playroom for kids and the best drying room I've ever seen in a ski resort. The hotel is about as close as you can get to the centre and an easy walk to the central ski lifts.

The onsens are very inviting, clean and well-maintained.

I know I loved staying there as I'm still missing it and thinking about it daily!

Absolutely wonderful! We visited my sister who booked a big (12 tatami mats) traditional Japanese room, as we had missed out on booking the last room for ourselves. Everything from the location, the atmosphere and the facilities provided were 'Ahmazing'. The best part of Refre though is the family that run it! Pete and Jen and their sons made us (mostly my sister and her guests.and my husband and i whenever we popped in to say hi or have a drink) feel like family. 100% recommended this stay for the season, but book way in advance as rooms go super fast!
