Great restaurant for vegan,
Had lunch buffet for 1,100yen
The curry is on "lighter" side, but not bad at all. 2 type of nan, turmeric rice, 4type of curry, complete with salad and rice pudding.
Cost perfomance wise, it was good.
Best curry experience in Tokyo. Wasn’t religious before but now I am. Try the special spices and you’ll know what I mean.
Namaste.
Nice Indian restaurant in Shibuya. The place is close to station and beside the street. Pure vegetarian restaurant. Vegan food available. Polite staff and awesome service. The food was delicious. Different naan sets are available. The price is bit high but the food is worth for the money. One of the best Indian restaurants in Tokyo.
Food is just so so,
Its not authentic enough for me. But its not bad either that i would rate it low.
Considering the fact that they serve roti and vegan naan which i am happy to eat.
Shibuya has plenty of Indian restaurants but this one is fairly closer to the Hachiko station. Milan. Nataraj is doing something very different. They are a pure vegetarian restaurant. Only vegetarian options available and the food is just great. Not only Indians, tonnes of non-indo people are seen enjoying all the veg food and this place is kind of remains crowded. The waitresses here are Japanese, dressed in salwaar kameez and are very friendly. Food is just great. Do visit this place and try the soy products.
Indian restaurant that offered lots of good vegetarian and vegan options. They had a buffet or you could order from the menu. Only downside was that it was above a steak restaurant so you had to walk past that delicious smell to get to the veg options.
Amazing food! Was there for dinner and had the pumpkin masala and vegan sesame naan. Homemade ginger ale was delicious as well!
The first place I’ve been to that has dishes with coriander clearly marked on the menu - huge props for that
Good food, great variations and good atmosphere. Kind staff, lunch buffet is great. Overall, good place for vegans/vegetarians.
So this place isn't bad. It's Vegetarian. When it comes to Indian restaurant I'm bit strict as I'm from India. Naan was good. Even curry was good. I think what I didn't like about this place was value for money. Let me explain further.when it comes to Indian restaurant, the image is on cheaper side. While you may pay 8000yen for a French place and say it was cheaper but for Indian if you spend 3000yen you'll say it's expensive. So here I'm talking about that "expensive or value for money". Overall good food.
Tasty food with pure vegetarian options. Staff is friendly and guides you on what items to avoid if you are vegan. They even suggest places to explore in Tokyo that have good vegan foods.
Excellent and authentic Indian vegetarian restaurant in midst of Tokyo Shibuya District. Don't be misled by the old fashioned deco, food quality is fantastic!
Great variety, great taste with options suitable for vegetarians, vegans and jains. The lassi tastes great too.
Highly recommended!
Came here for lunch - was satisfied by the lunch buffet, 1490 yen for all you can eat. The selection was small but delicious: 4 very healthy vegetarian curries, naan and rice, pakoras, pickles, salad and dessert. The menu also had many additional vegan options, especially vegan desserts (a rarity).
The owner was super friendly and the ambiance was bright, spacious, and charming. A nice respite from the chaos outside. The small tables near the front have a nice view of the busy streets outside.
Look for a floor sign outside the building, marking the stairs to reach this restaurant on the 3rd floor.
Had a good Indian meal here for three people in April 2018. Cost us between 4000-5000 yen. Had naan, daal, sabzi. The owner is probably a Japanese, but they do have an English speaking person here. I didn't check if anybody speaks Hindi here. We were served by an English speaking girl who was not Japanese, probably European. She served us with enthusiasm.
Vegan heaven! At 1080 on weekdays, I found the buffet to be a very good price. Although one of the curries had milk, everything else was vegan, or came in a vegan version. If you ask, they will even provide a vegan version of the dessert! The rice could use some seasoning, but overall satisfying food, especially the naan bread. Staff is lovely!
