朝倉彫塑館

Immaculately presented gallery and museum with nude real life sculptures from a famous Japanese artist. The museum is tidy and polished. No shoes allowed inside and unfortunately no photos either. The signage was mostly in Japanese but there was a helpful guide who answered some of our questions. We were looking forward to seeing the roof garden but it was closed due to the rain.

Brought my wife here for our 1st date. Wonderful, peaceful place. A masterpiece in so many different ways. I will never forget that day and that time. We are married since 13 years now.

東寺展の仏像をみたあとだったので
申し訳ないが展示作品にはあまり心うばわれませんでした。特にイケメン特集とかありましたが、作品に添付されたコメントにはがっかりてましたね。
ただし、美術館としての器は素晴らしいもので池のある中庭を囲むお部屋からのお庭の眺めはどこからも素晴らしく一見の価値があります。星はすべて
中庭への眺めによる点数です。
