The mosque is moved closer to the station. For women, we can use the 3rd floor. While traveling, it is nice to have prayer here since it is close to the station.

I visited Assalam Mosque on 18 Dec 2017. Make easier to visitors to have a prayers in this city.

The Assalaam Muslim foundation was originally used as a place for worship for Muslim people residing in Japan. It was renovated approximately two years ago to make a new facility. There are two facilities inside the same building, which are community center called Everyone’s plaza and a mosque called Assalaam Masjid.

Muslim people can attend service in Assalaam Masjid. Ueno is a major tourist attraction, so we get visitors from around the world.

Assalaam foundation is a non-profit, non-political organization. We are a religious and educational organization that carries out a variety of study meetings on Islam. We cooperate with a near-by kindergarten to give teachings on Islam to children once a week.

We came first time from couple years ago while strolling around this area. The sign to keep your mask On, also prefer has wudhu before coming to Mosque. It's enough prevention and during our visit the mosque especially in woman area is empty. So me and my daughter feel safe while praying here. Also around mosque there are several restaurants that Muslim friendly, halal, vegetarian. So this mosque is really convenient.

I always felt very claustrophobic in that Masjid but due to COVID19 its no it as crowded now a days. I sort of have mixed feelings I like not being cramped but at the same time I wish more brothers could come. Wasalam

A nice community mosque for both travellers & local. They held 2 Friday prayer, the first is for men and the second is for both men and women. Time may varies according to season. It's strategically located in Okachimachi (near Akihabara & Ueno) and has a nice small park in the vicinity. They are in the process of building a new mosque. May God be with them and ease the process, insyaAllah.

Beautiful place to say your prayer, they hold two jummah, first jummah starts from 12.05 to 12.40,2nd jummah 12.50 to 1.35

Place with proper wudhu and prayer areas. They conduct Friday prayer twice, so you can choose the prayer time which suits your schedule.

Convenience location; near to Ueno Park. 10 minutes walking from Ueno station. Surrounded with halal restaurant and shop nearby.

Nice environment. Woman space seperated by floor.

こじんまりしたイスラームのモスクです。女性の礼拝室は二階で、ウドゥの水場も礼拝室横にあります。夕方に訪問しましたが、一階には子供さんを含め大勢の外国の方がいらっしゃり、コミュニティとしてしっかり活動しておられるように感じました。

Very a nice mosque around Ueno. Muslims around the world that come to Tokyo should pay a visit here.

When you buy something in ueno, this mosque very recommend, about 10 minute from ueno station. For me indonesia people this place we can meet many indonesia people.

This place is great! Alhamdulillah, we visited here. Men and women pray areas are separated. They have preyer clothes for mislim women. Very convenient and friendly

Magrib pray here and it's very comfortable. Woman praying roon in second gloor has wudhu area and toilet.

The masjid is very near to the Ueno park. The toilet and wudu place is very clean. Although, the prayer room for men is on the 3rd floor, the praying place is very comfortable. No parking for car/bicycle is available here. Therefore, many bicycles are parking infront of the masjid. Please brothers with bicycle, park nicely. People with baby car has difficulty in bringing their babies too.
