It's a nice place to check out varieties of kitkat that are popular in Japan. We tried flavours like ruby chocolate, matcha and sake that we've never had before - all good! We expected the place to have a larger variety of flavours like wasabi and sushi as mentioned in some blogs, but the place doesn't house too many flavours. Kitkat packs (different flavours) are available across markets in Japan at a lower cost and that would be a better buy especially in large quantities. The chocolatory also has a small cafeteria on the first floor.

Beautiful little corner of nice chocolates from KitKat, pricey but delicious, a great purchase for a souvenir.

Very friendly staff but not so much variety - only the very expensive stuff in nice packaging. Not a single store, but a little booth in the mall.

Our expectations were super high as we are on a mission to try as many kitkat flavours as we can. The place is quite small with a more luxurious presentation of their products. Here you will find the Ruby Red chocolate which is hard to find elsewhere.
The staff is super friendly with almost zero English. Upstairs there is the KitKat cafeteria which is a nice place to have a treat, no more. We had the ruby red hot chocolate, which I recommend and couple of pastries.
This is a good place to buy a present but to buy the real kitkat bags you have to look in small shops and airports and train stations.

や、美味しいですよ、キットカット。それのスペシャルなバージョンを食べられるというのは確かに貴重です。
でも、それでも、たった1本で400円とか。プレゼントであげるには、どうもそれだけの価格があるようには見えないじゃないですか。だってキットカットって一袋で300円とかですよ。
もし一個400円で別のお菓子を買うなら、結構しっかりしたものが買えますからね。
かといって、自分で食べるためだけに買うかというと…なおさら厳しい。
決して悪い商品ではないのですが、キットカットというあまりに確立されたブランドで、まったく別のイメージを確立するというのは、非常に難しいと言わざるをえません。ブランドは簡単なものではないですね。

Some cool flavors, but to get all of them you'll have to go to grocery stores and souvenir shops. Surprising that they don't stock all (or at least most) of the flavors, but other than that it was definitely worth it. If you're only planning on buying a few different flavors, then this is the place for you!

Prices are out of control.its a bloody kit kat.go to bic camera and Don Quijote / donki and get the "strange flavors" for normal prices.

There are indeed some Kit Kat options that you cannot find anywhere else (I have seen a butter one and a box with various fruits), but the price is about 4 times the regular one so I would skip and just get the widely available ones.

Disappointing! Just a chocolate counter in a department store's food hall. Don't get your hopes up. But still, offers some of the weirdest flavours.a lil pricey

Has some of the rarer varieties but some of the essential flavours (matcha, sake and raspberry) you can get from a pharmacist close by for a much cheaper price.

Only five flavors offered. Disappointing. I found more flavors at a convenience store around the block.

Go here if you want expensive "gourmet" KitKat that you can't find in regular stores. This place was kinda a disappointment for me. Did not expect it to be so small. The pictures posted here are pretty much all there is to see here. The KitKat here was interesting, unique, and not found in others stores. However, they're were pretty expensive. I found greater variety of KitKat at the Japanese snack shops made for tourists. Found the most at the Diver City Mall.

Not what I expected. Easy enough to find inside shops at train station. It's well overpriced and tiny. My bathroom has more products on display and I am a single male. It does have some different kitkats but that's a given for it i guess.

Not for everyone but if you LOVE Kit Kat, you cannot afford to miss visiting Chocolatory. There are unique Kit Kat flavours, nicer packaging but more expensive than standard Kit Kat.

God lives here.sorry, it's a little expensive and all those calories are on my arse.but it was worth it.

Thought it was a big store on its own, nut it was just a small corner of the biggest dessert marketplace ever

I thought this shop would be selling all the variants of kitkat only found in Japan but it does not. It still offers unique kitkats but they are quite expensive.
