They're straight up running a scam here. You can book a valid rental with a valid license issued in Japan and they can claim since it's not the official one they are used to, it's not valid for their member price.the price I booked online. I returned the car only to have them raise the price on me and handed me the receipt as if nothing ever happened. Refused to honor the price I originally rented the car under.
