Lovely little place with super friendly owners who were nice enough to chat with a gaijin like me. Great food!

This place serves food like how grandma used to make. It’s not flashy or expensive, just humble ingredients cooked well, with soul.

We started with Mentaiko Monjya-yaki, realised it’s good and continued with Pork Yaki Soba and finished strong with a Oyster Okinomiyaki. Portions are smaller but cheaper (700-800yen) excellent for those who want a variety.

The lovely owners told us the shop is 47 years old, we highly recommend for those who enjoy decent food and a slice of nostalgia.

お値段お安めで昔ながらの鉄板に焼き上げてくれます！！

Wanted to try monjayaki before we head back to the hotel, and we happened to be in Ginza. So even though no one was in the restaurant, we decided to give it a try because of all the wonderful reviews.

The man and woman were super friendly, but sadly, the fish roe, cheese monjayaki we had was tiny, it only had a few sprinkles of cabbage and ingredients were lacking (mostly water, no cheese that we knew of). It was salty, we ate with tiny spatulas and tiny plates. We felt like it was a tourist trap or maybe we were just ripped off because we were foreigners? BEWARE!

三越の裏にあります。
なかなか狭く年期の入った店内ですが、目の前でお母さんの作ってくれるお好み焼きは見てて楽しいし、味も文句なしです
