私は 8 か月かけて日本中を旅行しましたが、ここが我が家のように感じられたので、何度か訪れた唯一の場所です。
もちろん、価格を考慮すると、4 つ星ホテルのような快適さはありませんが、予算に優しいこのホテルでは、必要なものがすべて揃っています。

この場所を特別なものにしているのはホストです。あなたと話して自分の話を共有したいと思っている本当に良い人たちがいます。必要なアドバイスをくれるとても親切な人もいます。

Really Japanese style atmosphere. Kindly owners! If you want take care like a Japanese family - stay here! A new building and rooms! The bestest from all Japan!

Stayed there for two weeks and would definitely like to stay there again on my next visit.

First of all, the hotel is very conveniently located, with easy and fast train connections to all important places in Tokyo. The Akado station is just about three minutes away on foot.

Shim-Mikawajima station with a convenient and fast access to the Narita airport is about 15 minutes away on foot.

I had a JR pass, so had to (most frequently) use the JR train network, but its Tabata station is too only about 15 minutes away on foot, through a nice quiet neighborhood.

From there, the Tokyo station, Ueno, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza and other famous districts can be reached very rapidly.

Secondly, the hotel offers a very good value for the price:
Instead of, say, a "capsule hotel", you live in a proper room, in which you can stand up, sit properly, open a window to get some fresh air, empty you trash into a garbage-bin, allocate your bags, hang your clothes, regulate room temperature with an air conditioner, not be subject to excessive noise from other guests.

Toilets and bathrooms are shared, but very well maintained, warm (not just the air or water, but also the toilet seats!) and done with the latest advances of technology.

Toilets are very clean - but even so, special slippers are provided to be used just in toilets!

You can save some room in your luggage by taking only the necessary clothes and washing them on site in specially provided washing machines.

And you can also cut costs on restaurant dining by using the kitchen and the refrigerator in it.

And most of all, the hosts are just amazing! Tom and Kimiko treated me as a family member - and I could really feel their sincerity, care, and kindheartedness.
They always happily welcomed me after a day of travels, provided excellent advise as to my travel plans, introduced me to previously unknown tasty food, provided interesting insights into the Japanese culture.

In those two week we truly became friends. It was really, really sad to leave them.

And I am writing this review with a sincere gratitude to them for the excellent care they took of me during my stay there.

I am looking forward to see them again one day!

Absolutely unbelievable hotel for Tokyo relations, for very low price you get your own lockable room, 1st floor kitchen with pottery all you need etc. The hosts are just incredibly friendly and welcoming, I am looking forward to coming back Tom!)

The room is small but for price of a capsule anywhere else.

Only one thing that troubled me a little during my stay was that the showers in 3rd floor spray water as if they didnt want to, and you have to wait a long time to get optimal temperature.

You need to pay extra cost for Nippori subway line, which only can get into JR subway line, but here it’s cheap if you go for long stay.

Tom and Kimiko are wonderful hosts. The ran the first trial of a weekly dinner I hope tom keeps going because it was amazing and tom didn't even ask us for any money. There is clothes washing available for a small fee.
The rooms are very basic with just beds and ours has a mirror and painting hung on the wall. However they were very clean as was everything. But the shared living room and kitchen dining area make you feel so much at home its like your own home in Japan.
Sadly in the halls and between the floors noise travels. And if you stay at the same time as guests who cant control their kids then you can hear some noise.
I will be back to stay here for sure.

Great staff, very helpful and English speaking. They're so sweet and friendly the owners. We loved the stay, it's super cheap but a bit far away from inner city we were on bikes and it was a long long way to bike, also because we were lost every five minutes LOL. I will recommend to just take busses and trains when you stay in Tokyo guest house. Enjoy Japan!

Hotel with shared bathrooms, dining room, kitchen. Quiet neighborhood, 3 minute walk to Nippori-Toneri line. Tom and Kimiko (host and hostess) are the sweetest couple you can meet. Tom went to NYU and is fluent in English. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We started out as host/hostess/innkeeper and patron and after a week and a half, left as friends and were sharing food and stories. I highly recommend this comfortable but basic place. The rooms are small by Western standards but all rooms are small in Japan when judged by Western standards. I hope to see Tom and Kimi again and have asked them to look for me should they visit the US.

Very friendly and communicative host. It's possible to wash your clothes here (fee 200+300JPY). Nice roof with chairs, tables and beautiful view. Rooms are very small but for this price it is ok. Strongly recommend it:)

The hosts are so kind. Great and cheap place to spend some days in Tokyo. Good neighborhood, but don't expect any luxury.

We stayed here as a group of 5 for 5 nights. The whole place is immaculate and located close to the subway and within walking distance to some AMAZING restaurants. The owners are lovely, chatty and welcoming people - exactly the environment you want for an overseas holiday.

Very very poor service.we had to find another place to stay when we arrived in Tokyo because this guest house suddenly cancelled our reservation the night before we arrive.such a hassle for us. WE ARE SO DISAPPOINTED.

The owners cancelled our booking 18 hours before check-in. Disgraceful! We were a group of 43 persons (remember?), and we booked the house almost 2 months before the date of arrival. The struggle was real.

Location is near the public transporation and 7/11 store. Very quiet neighborhood. Clean house and very accommodating owner. They can speak english very well. Complete amenities including toiletries and towels.
Negative side is that the room is so small for a guest of 4 pax. No clock inside the room which is very important for us who travel from different countries. Far from city center approximately 30-45 minutes travel by train which is very costly.
Overall 7 out of 10.

Hosts are friendly and incredibly helpful, they speak great English too. The rooms are what you expect in Tokyo, small but clean. The amenities are nice and the roof is a great place to relax. There is a shared kitchen and dining room where you can always find other travelers to chat with if deisered.

Fantastic place to stay, very clean, easy to get to via public transport and the owners are very helpful and lovely.

Such a great place to stay, not too far from a 7-11 and the train station! The owners are such lovely people too!

Best and easy to commute, some room are really small but shower and toilet are convenient, owner is nice and helpful, the place in pure Japanese fashion is clean & tidy. The cherry on the top is train station and relatives position in Tokyo is perfect for visiting everywhere. The 7elevrn and the train are 2mn walk only, really good when you made lots of shopping. It's as well quiet and modern building. Booked already for my next visit.
