京格安の記事で、このチェーン店が象牙のはんこを販売していることを知りました。ゾウを絶滅させることに加担したくないなら、私はそれを避けます。

Had my friend’s hanko made at this store. Upon entering the store, a friendly staff approached me. The staff can speak English well and explained to me the different types of hanko and their prices. I explained that my friend couldn’t personally come due to an emergency so I went to the shop on her behalf. The staff asked for her residence card and I showed the photo she sent to the staff. I also told the staff that we were getting the cheapest one that they could offer. He so politely went with my request and started working on the stamp. He told me I can come the following day, but I told him I’d rather wait. I was given an estimate of 1 hour waiting time, but the hanko/stamp was done in 30 minutes~ very quick and very good service. The price isn’t that expensive, too! Highly recommended!

*they make hangko using English alphabet, hiragana, katakana and kanji. If you want to translate your English name to a certain kanji character, they can do it for you, too.

Really recommend this place. I made my forst hanko here. The staff is super helpful and they speak really good English. Maybe will comeback for another hanko

Very helpful staff made very nice professional business cards for me on the spot. They spent time to work through very complicated details to get the cards right, including adding katakana and making sure the translation made sense, and they stayed past close by to finish the job!

A must if you come to Japan, get your name in traditional characters or in normal Roman characters. They only took a few minutes to do ours as they where not that busy. A simple one machine printed was less than 2,000¥ but can be very expensive depending on the material and if it is handcrafted. Worth the trip
