53Probably the best Mexican experience to be had in Tokyo. Just about everything made from scratch with a fair price. Reminds me of Tex-mex/Cali-mex from home
If you're looking for authentic Mexican food in Tokyo, this is a pretty good spot. The chef and owner is from Mexico, and the food is delicious. I can't really recommend any one dish because everything is good.
This is a little hole in the wall kind of place, you have to go a little out of your way. But you'll come back again and again for that flavor, that friendly service, and that great atmosphere. Don't miss it!
Amazing food and the staff are super welcoming! I’ll definitely be heading back here sometime soon!
Great place. Food tasted pretty authentic. A bit much meat in my burrito I felt like, but that’s not really something to complain about I guess.
Amazing Carnitas Tacos that would briefly bring you back to the streets in Los Angeles.
It is hard to find good Mexican food in Tokyo, but this small at home venue in a little alley that branches out from Takeshita street would satiate your occasional craving.
Not the best tacos that I have ever had, but certainly up there among the top in the city of Tokyo.
SMALL PORTIONS, NOT THAT CHEAP!
Taste was Ok but portions are really too small for the price! Had a quesadilla but was nothing special. I could cook it by myself at home.
The only good thing was being able to hear Spanish being talked by the weitress.
Good food but the staff makes you to never come back again and they don’t care about order of arrival.
The service was VERY POOR from the start. No menus were given to us on arrival (we had to ask for them after waiting for several minutes) and when we were ready to order, we were told to wait, only to be forgotten. The food came out so SLOWLY that members of our group were finished eating before others even got their food. We saw other tables order after us only to get the same dish before us. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
Delicious. I visited twice while in Tokyo and had the burrito and the tacos. Your can get chips and salsa with the lunch set and they are served warm. Salsa is fresh and tasty. The carnitas has a sweet molasses flavor which is really tasty. Very clean and great service.
Oh finally. Good non japanese food! The burritos are just as I remembered them from California.
Great food.a little pricy. The drinks are pricy as well as some of the side menus which I wouldn’t recommend. However the main menus like fajita or the bowls are very good.
I've lived in Japan for 2 years and I've finally found a Mexican restaurant that sells Horchata. The food was delicious and reminds me of food back in Texas. I can't recommend this place enough.
Good atmosphere and location, but the chimichanga was small and it took them about 20 minutes to make - it's about half the size you'd get back in Southern Cali. The pre-portioned meat was removed from the freezer as well. Also, it came with no toppings like sour cream or guacomole.
As someone who grew up in Texas, this made my heart happy. Quality guac, Valentina sauce, Spanish floating throughout the shop; it hardly felt like Tokyo. It's a charming little place, it only has maybe 8 tables. The food is Tex Mex rather than true Mexican (not a bad thing, just something to be aware of), though they do serve some quality cochinita pibil
After living in Japan for over 5 years, I still go out of my way to push through the crowd of people on Takeshi Dori to come here. Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Japan (and my Mexican friend's favorite spot too for what it's worth). If you're from anywhere where Mexican food is more common it'll be pricier than you're used to (expected in Tokyo), but if you're looking for anything decent look no further. I usually go for the chicken ranchero quesadilla.
I don’t understand the attraction of Takeshita St, which just appears to be a cheap junk yard, but it’s worth visiting just for Chile’s. Delicious and authentic Mexican food, prepared with love by friendly personnel who are fluent in English, Spanish and Japanese. Muchas gracias!
BEST MEXICAN FOOD. I always get the carnitas burrito and it's soooo good! The tacos are also pretty big and the margarita (despite being a bit small) is also very good. Definitely try the horchata if you go!
Place run by mexicans. Really good food and service. Normal price, they have sets for lunch. Burritos (you can choose ingredients), enchilas, chimichangas, tacos, quesadillas and more. Enjoy!
It doesn’t look like much when you first step in, but the food is actually pretty good in a simple, no-frills, high-cholesterol way.it’s obviously more expensive than mexican food in the americas, but our total for 2 came to about ¥4000, which didn’t seem like a bad deal for what we got.we were definitely satisfied.the waitress was a very sweet japanese lady who speaks english, and the chef/owner was a mexican guy with a warm smile.nice place for a quick bite of latin flavor.
