Five stars, great place for first timers. Its easy to get too and allows people woth tattoos: D

Very busy, modern, clean bath house. This place is frequented by locals and foreigners, body wash shampoo and conditioner is provided in the bathing areas. You can purchase a bath towel, hand towel and other items if you need to at the premises. It was relaxing soaking in the baths, a good way to relax in busy Tokyo

日暮里駅から近く風呂の種類も多い、また浴室中に無料のリンスインシャンプーとボディソープが置いている。余り広い銭湯では無いので早目の時間帯に行くと空いていて使い良い。番台で生ビールが売られてたりする。

This was a very nice experience though as a foreigner you first need to get used to it. The baths are very relaxing with different temperatures, sparkling, electric and outside. Really nice!

I am still warm from my first visit. This is a really nice place. 5 baths (cold, hot, electric, sparkling and outside).
A important point, it is tattoo friendly and you have the instructions in English if needed.
You can buy a towel if you don’t have one and shampoo and soap are free.
You can have a cold beer after.
I will return for sure for my first time I only stay 1h30:).

We made the trek out to Saito-yu because some of us are those lightly tattooed foreigners.: P And we had our 5 year old with us. It was wonderful! Everyone was super friendly (even the other local ladies) and it was great to see other children there as well. Thank you very, very much!

English friendly, clean, tattoo friendly. Bath variety; Cold, Very Hot, Jet, Micro Bubbles, Outside bath (fully covered).

日暮里駅から程近い新しいビル銭湯。綺麗だった。

シャンプーとボディソープは浴室内にあり。自分で持ち込む人用に置いてないところもある。湯船は炭酸湯、露天風呂など四種類くらい。露天にアームチェアーがあって休めるのが良かった。サウナはなし。ビルの中だけど天井は高く広い。

アサヒのスーパードライの生が飲める。

Excellent onsen in Nippori. Very close to JR Nippori station. Women onsen has 5 different type of baths, including open bath too. I would give 10 stars if I could give more. Nice place and the staff is also very nice with tourist.

This was my first experience in an Onsen. As a foreigner, from the front door having a local help me figure out how to work the lockers for my shoes to the next helping me wrangle myself a ticket or two from the vending machine and having the amazingly welcoming staff explain the rules, This place was great.

For those of you concerned about the traditional rules of such venues, there is no discrimination against those with tattoos.

Im not sure if this is a common thing or not but they have an electric pool, which has electrical pulses through the water, which is rather interesting. Can't say I'd recommend a dunk for those with a pacemaker or ICD but certainly a unique experience
Another plus, this place is only a couple of minutes from the train station, So if you've got a JR pass, this is the place to be.

とりあえずキレイ。脱衣場も。お風呂はわりと狭いから団体はやめた方がいい。３人で行ったらはっきり言って邪魔かな。都会なのに露天風呂があるのは良い。熱湯が熱すぎて入れない。サウナはないよ。シャンプーはある。脱衣場の掃除にわりとキレイなお姉ちゃんが入ってきてびびったわ
