Yes, this is a functioning coin laundry and it does what it says. And, yes, bring coins (100 yen ones). And yes, they sell detergent. If the dryer doesn't work, close the door again and push harder.

近くのホテルで研修会の為、途中のお洗濯のために利用。雨続きの天候の為、地元の方が利用しておりましたが特に問題なく利用できました。郊外型のものと違ってお知らせの機能や自動で洗剤や柔軟剤の投入などという機能はありませんが、時間に余裕もあったので問題なし。待ち時間をどのように過ごすかが問題ですかね。

Machines are weak and are the least commercial rig ive seen in Japan. To dry it's $1/10 mins? Pretty dang expensive to dry your clothes. No place to change bills to coins. No table to fold clothes. Must be good for people desperate for space in Tokyo, but its current 4.7 rating is excessive.

Keep about 10 x 100 yen coins ready. Clean place, lots of food places around to visit while you wait. Everything worked fine. Detergent: 100Y; small wash (6.5 KG) 200Y; big wash 300Y; 10 min dryer 100. Overall great to use if you stay in a hotel nearby!

Pretty tiny but glad this exists. The other reviews are correct in detail. We stayed at hotel monterey which was only a 9min walk.

There is a stack of stools which you can use to read a book outside while you are waiting for your load to finish. No need to stand like I did before I found them.

It is hard to find a coin laundry here, not bad to clean all your clothes, remeber to carry five 100 yen coin money at least, or you can do nothing.

Make sure to walk with your 100yen coins. Simple laundry mart no English instructions but easy to operate. Put in your coins (machines with 200 or 300 yen based on load size), load your laundry and detergent and go (40mins cycle).

Dryers at 100yen for 10mins. Bring a kindle or pocket WiFi to pass the time.

Easy place to wash and dry clothes quickly.the place got self service machine for detergent, that's very good. If you finish coin, then there is a note to ask for change next door in cafe bar.

Nice place, usually not so crowded. There are dispensers for softener and detergent each for 100 yens

My husband and I stayed at the Yoshi Center Hotel and obviously laundry was expensive there so looked up for a close laundromat and this being 3 minute was great. Way cheaper here and great that they provide detergent and softer.

Detergent is 50 yen, washer is 200 yen and dryer is 100 yen for 10 minutes if I remember correctly.

Works well. There are several washers; 4.5 kg capacity for 200 yen a wash, 7 kg capacity for 300 yen a wash. The wash takes 40 minutes to complete. A few dryers are available for 100 yen per 10 minutes. Detergent and fabric softener are available for 50 yen each. Make sure to have 100 yen coins with you, as they only take 100 yen coins even for detergent and fabric softener vending machines (give 50 yen change back).

I don't speak any Japanese, but I was able to figure it out! The hardest thing was accumulating enough 100 yen coins.
