21I stayed here only a short time but the staff and service was amazing. It's very close to Asakusabashi station so you can get anywhere in Tokyo very easily. I lost my shoes while staying here and the staff were super helpful in helping me find them (turns out they were placed on a shelf overnight). You won't have a private bedroom (since, you know, hostel), but some people would enjoy the company. Breakfast is simple but filling, with a wide selection of jams, teas, and coffees. Lockers for holding your stuff are big enough to hold a backup and small items, but not enough for a large suitcase.
This is one of the best hostels I have ever visited it has very good beds and it is very cheap for a hostel so near to the train station I love my visit there and there is a very Japanese like style mixed with modern architecture in the building.i love how you have a charger in every bed and not on the floor like many other hostels do it even has a small desk like compartment which you can put your laptop on if you spend to work on something the toilet is extremely small but it is clean and the beds are so clean I could not even find a single dust in them. However in the corners of the room I find little dust on the floor. Perfect hostel for anyone who loves japan.
The staff here are really friendly and helpful! The breakfast was also standard but good.
However my bed was in the middle of a dorm with a curtain on either side which was a little uncomfortable as you could see in from both sides. The showers are also small and claustrophobic.
Budget friendly and comfortable stay. Got to meet lots of new friendly people. Breakfast was good too.
Good hostel, helpful staff. Lounge area is small. Cannot accomodate more than 10 people at a time. And they have a rule that you cannot eat or drink in your room. Hence, in the evening it is difficult to find a place to eat. Rest all is good. The place has a lot of quick tips and guides to visit nearby places.
Nice place, cozy atmosphere.
Stayed in a twin room, the bed looks very solid and doesn’t make noise
Private plug and curtain.
Good wifi and ac
Clean
Free BASIC breakfast
Nice common room suitable for meeting fellow travelers.
A bit of trouble to check in between 11pm and midnight (yet it’s clearly written on their Hostelworld page) and no check in after midnight.
Great location and facilities. Nice quiet area and easily accessible. Loved the breakfast inclusion and chance to chat to fellow hostelliers at the start of the day.
PIt was the first Anne Hostel in Tokyo (Yokozuna is the newest one). They provide a free breakfast which is a great value for us. Friendly reception staff which some of them was working in Anne Hostel Yokozuna as well. I have a late midnight check-in and their staff, Shimpei, was really friendly to assist me during the process. A quite big living-room was so a great place to get social interaction with other guests. Even the location was in the alley, it was safe during the late-night walk.
Second time here and I got the same room as last time.:) staff knows their area and good with giving suggestions on where to go. I highly recommend this place:) close to the main station too
Highly recommended. We stayed in a private 4 person room. Staff are friendly. They serve toast, jam, and hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Price was comparatively inexpensive for Tokyo. Clean shared bathrooms and rooms. Quiet neighborhood. The shared dining room is lively with other guests playing games and relaxing. Short walk to station. Many helpful posters provide info on area attractions and events.
Fine experience for the price. The showers were a little small, but also fine. The bed isn’t a mattress. It’s a thin pad on the bunk. I’m a side sleeper and my hip bones dug right into the wood beneath. The place was still clean and the common area was cute. Standard breakfast of boiled eggs, toast and jam, coffee or tea.
This hostel is comfortable and slightly social. The location is by several good metro lines, but there is not much to do within walking distance of the hostel it self.
Lovely hosts, reasonably priced, clean, plenty of advice about what to go and do and how-to do it and 5 minutes from the train line!
Great environment. Nicely located close to the Asakusabashi station (a JR line) Staff is super kind and welcoming! Only thing that could be improved is for them to have check in luggage lockers (if that's a thing)
Very good hostel. Wish the lounge was open a little bit later. Very clean, very functional. Staff was friendly and free breakfast.
Great place, good atmosphere and very helpful staff. The location is brilliant with great connectivity to the Jr line.
Great hostel. Good price awesome staff, well situated and breakfast too! All of the guests were friendly and cool.
It was such a pleasure for me to stay in this hostel. The staff is the best you can find and the atmosphere is amazing. I met such a great people here during my Japan journey and I've to say thanks to Anne hostel.
Rooms are ok, toilets too.
This is a very good hostel, the staff is very nice, the subway is pretty near, and there are many places where you can go and grab something to eat. The rooms are in western or japanese style, with futons, but their futons aren't so confortable as others I've tried throughout Japan, and also the futon room smells like it was closed for too much time. This is the only negative point I'd care about.
The common room where you eat breakfast and the kitchen are clean, as also the bathrooms and showers. The breakfast has not so many choices, but you can have as many slices of bread and eggs as you like, so I'd say it's pretty convenient all considered.
The area of Asakusa is really nice to explore, and therr are also many "sento" near the hostel for you to realx every evening. Really good balance between price and quality: suggested to young people and easy travellers!
Super clean and comfortable hostel. They hook you up with tons of blankets, hot showers, and a solid free breakfast along with tea whenever you want. My only complaint would be how small the lockers are but I was able to keep my things on the shelf above my bed. I would definitely stay here again. Also the staff were super helpful and kind
