The very must try and visit ramen restaurant in Japan. One of the best you can have. Delectable and you will taste the umami flavor bursts inside your mouth. To taste this yummy ramen, be prepared to queue for 15-30 minutes since this restaurant is usually flooded with customers from around the world. Order and pay your ramen at the ticket vending machine then wait for your turn to sit and choose how you want your ramen to be served.

Great Ramen place, very rich texture. If you love ramen, choose "extra" for everything except the noodle and chilli on your own choice. At first i just follow the instruction and taste just alright. After i tried to put everything on extra, the beautiful taste of the rich broth just came out beautifully.

I thought this place was overrated. I'm still giving it 5 stars since my wife and son loved it so much that we went back 3 times in 3 days. At least during this time, I was able to change the richness of broth and firmness of noodle to my ideal preference (maximum undercooked noodles, 1 level above average richness).

I recommend the other location (which is a close walking distance) since the line at this location gets very long. There is no difference in quality between the two locations.

Gotta try this at least once when you are in tokyo. There are 2 restaurants in shibuya, try to find the second one where you almost never wait and that is bigger. Concerning the food its always the same but it saves the day when its late and you just wanna have a quick meal that is good and cheap

Ichiran is now everywhere in Japan and is so popular with both tourists and locals that you should expect to wait. It's worth it though, the ramen is fantastic and customizable at every level (you can even customize the softness/hardness of the noodles themselves). With a myriad of customizations everyone should be able to get what they what. You can also buy packets to make at home. They make great gifts:).

This was my first ramen dish in Japan. I was pleased with both the dish as well as the service. We had to wait in line but it was worth it. It wasn't just about the delicious ramen; the whole experience was unique and pleasant. Do not miss out on this one if you are visiting Japan.

You order and pay at vending machine which was cool. Quick service. Went there at lunch time and the line was out the door.

近くにあるマックも混んでましたので、時間を間違えると思い切り並びそうですね！替玉注文時のチャルメラを鳴らしてからの来るのがちょっと遅かったですけど、後は通常の一蘭と変わらずに召し上がれました。

Loved the ramen and the whole experience of ordering through the vending machine and being served through your own personal window. The only downside is the long waiting time. Open 24hrs so I will be going back next time I've had a few beers.

One of the best ramen i ever eat. Since we can adjust the flavors like we, it can suit for anyone even someone who doesn't like strong flavors. Their portion is not so big but enough for one person with normal appetite but if you're a big eater i suggest to order extra noodles since it will be cheaper to order only extra noodles. Their broth is very rich but it doesn't taste too oily. Just prepare yourself with long queue. Very recommended when to try if you are go to Japan

One of the must visit restuarant when in Tokyo. This chain stall served tonkatsu broth and you can choose from the different type of noodle texture, broth richness, spicyness and other ingredients. The broth is really rich and delicious. They have about 10 locations in Tokyo and it operate 24hours. Normally the queue is long during day time and waiting time can be up to 1hr or more. It is definitely worth the wait.

Superb Ramen with a cooky dining set-up. You sit at a counter in booths and food is fed through a window. Excellent options to customise your dish.

Worth the hype. Best ramen I have ever tasted! When you get the bowl, it looks very plain. But the soup broth is to die for!

Who am I to recommend Ichiran, so take these guys word for it:

Gandhi- I broke my 21 day fast just to eat some Ichiran.
President Truman - They wouldn't give it to me, so I bombed them.
Adolf Hitler- Only reason I had an alliance with Japan.
Amy Winehouse- Second thing I couldn't break the habit from.
Newton- Everyone thinks it's the apple, but I actually came up with the theory while dropping in my kae-dama.

It's a good experience going through the process. There's always a long line here during peak hours. Before you get a table, you have to choose your order at the vending machine and pay it upfront. I've tasted better ramen though that's why I'm only giving it 3 stars.

The ultimate ramen experience. Served individually through little hatches. Head down and eat ramen. Highly recommend!

We love Ichiran. We first tried it in New York so made a point to eat here in Japan. The line took about 20 minutes to get through at dinner time. The ramen is a pretty large portion size. I love that you can tailor the order to your preferences of spice, noodle texture, amount of garlic, etc. I made sure to order the egg and it was phenomenal. My husband got the green tea dessert which was delicious as well. We highly recommend this place. It's not too pricey and the ramen is great!

Its down a narrow stair case left of 'Ikinari Steak' restaurant. It's amazing as ramen start from 890 yen. I went at 10pm and had to wait in line for about 15 min. Definitely worth it.
