Cute little shop. Expect a line but it moves really fast. I received a cup of complimentary tea while eating the ice cream. Packaged green tea and other things on sale in store.

I was about to order the classic super strong matcha ice cream, but then I decided to try the black sesame flavour instead. What a revelation! They should advertise it more.

Very good taste ice cream. I try both Matcha green tea and black sesame. 5 Level for matcha green tea is ok for me. Must try!

レベル7の抹茶アイス濃くて美味しいです！高いですが全然払う価値ありでした。
しかし、座席がなく立ち食いスタイル…
しかもかなりテーブルが狭くみんなで囲むので、一人で行くと疎外感がやばいです笑

Really good ice cream! We had matcha #4 and black sesame and both were great. Queue moved pretty fast.

One of Tokyo's most famous green tea ice cream stores. Located in Asakusa, 5-min walk from the famous Sensoji Temple, the store serves 7 level of green tea ice cream (7 intensity with 7 being the strongest green tea). According to the ad at the store, most ice cream shops can only produce up to level 5 of green tea concentration but this one is able to extract two additional levels of intensity.

Besides green tea they also have Hojicha, black sesame ice cream, etc.

We tried the Level 7 green tea and the Hojicha - both are excellent. The Level 7 green tea is really strong (so if you are not a big green tea person, I think 5 should be strong enough). Ice cream is not very sweet and really focuses on the concentration of the green tea. The hojicha ice cream also tastes excellent (smells very nice, good creamy texture). We waited 30 min for the ice cream but it was well worth it. Given the popularity, everyone is limited to one ice-cream so recommend going with a group and ordering a few flavors to sample. Definitely get one of the stronger intensity green tea ice cream though - you won't be disappointed!

My second time here, and always choose number 7, the darkest one.
You can feel the matcha taste very strong and also try the sesame one ️.

It was so good. I have tried the world most richest matcha “Matcha no. 7” and Sesame gelato. Both of them are very strong favor and smell, i really love it.
The Matcha no. 7 was awesome. It was so green and very very Matcha. Favor was not sweet at all, but it was so rich, creamy and very delicious.
The Sesame was so good. It made from real black sesame, I think. I love it.
It is not expensive. 1 scoop in cone is not over ¥300 and 1 scoop in cup is not over ¥600. I am not sure about price but i know is not expensive (I’m sorry)

For matcha and japanese tea lovers. Different levels of matcha available. Other flavours like wheat tea ice cream also available. No seats available. Relatively expensive but great taste and experience there. Matcha beer is also not available anymore.

Walking distance from Sensoji Temple through Asakusa Temple, just cross the street afterwards and the shop is right on the road side. The famous shop with 1 to 7 level of green tea and you can sample it first before choosing. Make sure to check your order because the price for 7th level of green tea is different from the rest! You can just eat it directly within the shop because there are eating spaces inside, not big but enough for a quick standing party. You can also buy other green tea derivative products in the shop.

My girlfriend dragged me here. Ice cream was good and had lots of matcha varieties and other assorted tea flavors. Bring your SO here, maybe, ladies love the place:/

Pretty darn good. Tried #1 and #7 green tea flavours. #7 starts off tasting like bitter chocolate but finishes with a very strong green tea flavour. #1 is sweeter and more ice creamy. I also had the strawberry as a safety play. It was excellent - better than Hagen Daz imo.

The matcha gelato is really strong and doesn’t even taste sweet anymore if you pick level 5 or higher.
It is a unique experience and definitely the right thing for matcha lovers.

Line is long but goes by fast.i got level 5 which i think is the perfect level for matcha lovers and i got the rice tea flavor which is bomb.level 7 is a little too much in my opinion but worth a try! Also kinda pricey for the small scoops that they give lol
