Calling directly the customer service of my current company in order to try to contact me as a recruitment agency or whatever you are is totally unappropriate and unprofessional to me. If you ever want to contact a candidate, whatever the reason, PLEASE use their linkedin or other recruitments websites, but NOT their current place of work.

Plus, i just saw in my linkedin notifications that the person who called did checked my linkedin profile few minutes after his call to my company, which means he had a way to contact me directly.

I remain of course open to contact requests from recruitment companies and i am glad that you try to reach me, but not that way. This is wrong.

I am asking respectuly, please don't ever do that again, because it's embarrassing to try to explain in front of all my collegues and my managers that i am NOT interested.

I was not treated with respect at all when contacted by these consultants.

I recommend taking your business somewhere else.

This company exhibits extremely unprofessional behavior and a serious lack of respect towards prospective candidates. I had been invited to an on-site interview for an opening at this company, and I was scheduled to meet with a director. I waited for around 2 hours for him, only to be told that he was unavailable for our scheduled interview and that I would be contacted in the following days.

Later that same day, I was contacted and told that I was no longer being considered for the position, with very limited and trivial feedback.

This exemplifies an extreme lack of respect, punctuality and professionalism towards candidates.

If I had been contacted personally and apologized to for the misunderstanding, I would not be writing this critical review. However I observed little to no initiative or care on the side of this business.

We having same problem with other said “BMES are not a reputable recruitment company and should be avoided “. And they recommend senior executive with serious resume fraud.and they also refused to refund any fees paid.unprofessional candidate reserch and screen, when client complains always have excuse.very bad service, if you want to know details l am happy to share my experience.

BMESは非常識な人材紹介です。
不用な人材データをシェアするだけではなく、候補者を審査もせず紹介します。
一番ひどいのは履歴詐称の候補者を紹介し、トラブルあっても、返金もしない、オフィスに電話しても応答なく、絶対利用は避けるべきです。
弊社だけではなく、コメント欄のように同じご経験の方もいるので、更に被害者がないよう祈りたいです。

BMES are not a reputable recruitment company and should be avoided unless you want the liability we received. Not only did they recommend a senior executive with serious resume fraud by saying they knew him for 10 years, Jon Underland the MD even refused to refund any fees paid. Ask Jon for my contacts for my experience. I am happy to share.

High reputable search firm. BMES have been in Japan for over 16 years and are one of the best in Asia. They should be trusted to deliver top quality candidates even for the most challenging searches.
