The place is alright. I read somewhere an inmense review and thought it was going to be even better. They mostly have new albums and a reduced catalogue. Maybe the bar can be nice.
This place is a total scam. You have to buy overpriced records to drink at the bar and aren't allowed to even browse. This is actually illegal. False advertising.
Hip little record joint that blasts funk/electro (at least when I was there). Best part is they have drinks- alcohol and no alcohol- so if you have a buddy who can spend forever in a record shop, you can at least hang out and drink.
Vinyl records, beer and coffee all in one shop hidden away from the crazy crowds of Harajuku. Genius!
Staff wasn't very polite despite the fact it was empty at the moment. Also not good if you are looking for Japanese music.
Absolutely amazing tiny record store down an alley and up 3 flights of stairs. No elevator that we could spot and stairs re very tall and steep! Zines, tapes and records as well as store merch. They were very nice to us with our limited japanese. We had a whiskey at the small bar and bought a tote bag as we were afraid to try and get records back to the States. Emo, punk, post punk mostly with a few pop albums. Worth the trip for the great energy of the place and nice to have a drink and sit for a minute.
My baby boy and I went over there to check it out. So cool. Great music and it is far enough away from the crayiness of Harajuku to really chill and take it the good music vibes. My favorite record store in Tokyo. Oh and on top of that.they serve beer!
I love this place, because of good records, nice music videos and special beers.especially, review of records by owner is so cool.
Such a neat small record shop / cozy bar. Great selection of music and a must for vinyl collectors coming to Tokyo.
Great range, friendly staff. Some previous reviews mentioned it was hard to find (there are signs downstairs now) and that the divider cards should be in English (they are). Worth a visit:)
What a cool little place! Only a little sad I can’t read Japanese, because all their labeling etc are in Japanese only.apparently they have some English speaking staff but I don’t believe they were there that day. Real record geeks probably would have known better than me what they were looking at. They have a tiny bar inside as well.
