44 The food is delicious, so let me start with that.
Pretty small and very popular. Expect to wait a little bit as it is a victim of success. They only take cash so make sure to have some on hand. I'd be weary if I had a party of 5+. They don't speak English, but they try to understand what you're trying to order. You won't be disappointed.
My husband and I decided to get breakfast before heading back to Sapporo. We came across this little yet cozy and extremely clean restaurant. The eggs, French toast, pancakes and biscuits were delicious. I wish we had a Jade5 in Sapporo!
Yum breakie. Quite small and right now they only offer 40mins seating but it's really pleasant if you're in an American breakfast kinda mood.
The place has a very lively but homey feel. The food came out very quick but was absolutely delicious. I got the eggs benedict and came out perfect. The coffee is also good. I got the iced coffee.
This has become my favorite place to eat (late) breakfast for my prolonged stay in Tokyo.
It's close to a lively street which is home to my BJJ dojo. The eggs and pancakes are wonderful, and I usually get a coffee, read my book and write my diary for an hour or two. I can recommend the eggs Benedict, but there are many good choices on the menu!
Very, very friendly staff as well. I will miss this place when I leave Tokyo in a few days!
Go early or you might not get a seat! Wait time is heavy, or you could get lucky.
Excellent service! Call ahead of arriving. WORTH THE WAIT! THE FOOD IS AND MADE WITH LOVE
I had daily salad and my friend got frolentine egg benedict. Tomatoes in the salad was very sweet and the egg benedict was amazing! The place is small, so might have to make a line a bit but worth waiting:) You can do take out too.
Tucked away on a side street, this tiny cafe is a great place for breakfast. The pancakes were yummy.
Our family visited earlier this year. It was the first restaurant in Tokyo we ever visited and was the perfect breakfast the morning after a long flight from the US. The French toast, omelettes, and pancakes were great. I usually don't like eggs, but the scrambled eggs here were delicious. Even though we were over 6000 miles away from where we live, it still felt like home.
Fantastic little gem hidden away in a corner. Blueberry pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs was a great breakfast/ brunch. Friendly English speaking staff made it a clear place to revisit.
I came on purpose today from Roppongi for the french toasts! Worth the trip. AMAZING French toasts with real mapple syrup. Good value. Very cosy industrial style café. But not so easy to find.
Had the omlette, pretty good. Would want to go back to try the grilled cheese sandwiches. The cold beets cream soup was great.
American style breakfast, inviting vibe, great food. They only have Americano coffee so stay for the food and go around the corner for a espresso if that's what you're looking for
Very patient man with Americans and the vibe of the place was very authentic to its demeanor, would definately suggest visiting.
Nothing about this place felt right. Very confused place that was neither authentic nor western. Service was very poor which is a surprise considering level of service in Japan.
Can’t tell you enough how much I enjoyed this place. There’s two tables with two chairs, and one table with small benches for groups. Extremely small, but that’s part of what I enjoyed about it. People bring their pets in all the time. The food may seem expensive (over ¥1000 for an omelette) but it’s very high quality food, the coffee is delicious, and the staff was so friendly! I made this restaurant my breakfast staple during my month in Tokyo.
Solid breakfast. It is hard finding breakfast spots in Tokyo. The space is small but the doors open out onto the street so it feels comfy. My French toast were great but would have liked a slightly bigger sausage patty.
Only about 4 tables but we were able to do community seating, so it worked out perfectly. Coffee was yummy and the ambience was quaint and cheery! Eggs Benedict were so good and burrito was good as well. Our son ordered fluffy pancakes which he was happy about. The dog theme is so cute and our dog loving daughter had a blast reading the dog books/magazines. All in all it was a good find and we will be back next time we stay at the New Sanno!
